  1. No offence my man but how i hate phrases like this, it's like comparing apples with oranges . Also what quality are you talking about just graphics because nintendo clearly puts gameplay first as do i. I'll take good gameplay over fancy graphics anytime a day.

Nice, maybe it's an unpopulair oppinion but i always found metroid to be more suited on handheld rather then consoles, well the 2d ones anyway. Just wondering do you use actualy hardware or an emulator? What exactly are you looking for gamewise, it's kind of hard recommend something without knowing what you're after? 😉

Well after a long time of playing Metroid Fusion (it actually took me like 9 hrs of real gameplay) I finally beat the game, its one hard game I have to say but not the hardest metroid game, its also the first Metroid game that I actually finished. 8/10 rating Anyway, Im going to try beating another retro game (I know Metroid fusion doesnt sound retro but this game was release almost 20 years ago, God Im old..) Any recomendations ? If possible from the SNES, GBA, NDS OR 3DS since those are my options for handheld

  6. Apart from the Resident Evil 8 DLC, which other big gaming announcements are you looking forward to?

  7. This is another good angle that needs to be put into consideration as well because the better the TV, the more incredible the graphics are going to be. It's why I'm using Samsung 55" Class RU7300 Curved Smart 4K UHD TV.

  8. I got a Dreamcast for $60-$80 earlier this year, and an original Xbox in December.

  9. It depends on the tv too. If you don't have 4K tv, then you can't see the full potential of 9th gen games. 4K and 8K tv's have a very limited range to see it's full clarity. The further you are from the tv, renders 4K and 8K useless. So you can play 8th gen on 4K and it might look better than 9th gen on basic HD TV. Might be the same for computer screens and graphic cards too.

  10. With all due respect @NightmareFarm, I couldn't agree with you less. I actually think the level of visual improvement, the "leap" as you put it, get's less and less each time, especially considering the leap in the actual power of the hardware if anything gets wider each time. Not that those examples you put up aren't impressive, but if one actually looks at the whole history, I think that one will find the level of improvement does get less and less each time. I'll start from the beginning and work my way up to show you what I mean. Pong, 1972, 1st Gen I know the Odyssey came out the same year, but that was really more of a device to let people use thier TV's as an accessory to play what where basically board games. Pong, I believe, was the first video game you could play on TV at home. 2nd gen The next step isn't straightforward to navigate and it is debatable, but I'll go for the Atari 2600, 1977 Combat 3rd Gen Now to NES (8 bit), 1985 Mario Bros 4rth Gen Then to SNES (16 Bit), 1991 Super Mario World 5th Gen Then to the 32 Bit and N64 (1995-1996) (I'll use one shot from a PlayStation game and one from the N64) Goldeneye, N64 Metal Gear Solid, PlayStation 6th Gen The next example shows PlayStation 2, released 2000 Primal 7nth Gen Sticking with PlayStation, I'll go for PS3, 2006 Heavenly Sword 8th Gen Next, PS4 released 2013 ...and one of my favourites, Horizon Zero Dawn 9nth Gen And for the most recent of consoles, I'll go with the PS5 and an exclusive game to that console; Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart You see, I really do not see the level of improvement in graphics increase over time, I see the opposite. we're at the point where you could quadruple the amount of polygons in a 3d model and it would barley make a difference to how it looked. Obviously still images don't tell the whole story, like improvements on how games run, and that's why I'm actually glad the new generation of consoles seem to be more focused on improving the gameplay experience with reduced load times and higher, more stable frame rates rather than pure visual fidelity like they have been in the past. That's the right thing to do because I do feel graphics have hit something of a glass celling. We're at the point where putting more power into graphics is going to make less and less of a difference. The PS6 could have the power of 64 PS5's and would it really help the games look much better? VR maybe a bit of a different story because VR, as we know it today, is still an emerging technology, so maybe there is more room to improve thier, but even there is it's only a matter of time before VR runs into the same glass ceiling, so I actually don't think so. VR games look good even by the highest standards already.

  12. VR is already pulling a lot of strings and it's not yet fully exploited. Unreal Engine 5 will be a major blast together with VR.

You already have a lot to choose from. I have even picked out one game for myself from all the suggestions given by other gamers.

  14. That was then, not now anymore. I'll say, childish behavior was running through my mind then. I can't use that because, it doesn't add value to the spirit of the game.

  15. It is actually quite fascinating. I'm speaking mostly in reference to football (soccer) in the Scotland, but I get a feeling this is a similar story the world over. You have people that are perfectly normal, even nice, kind and thoughtful. Perfectly normal people. It's your postmen, your builders, your barista's, your plumbers, just normal folk Then a referee blows a whistle somewhere then for the next two hours they devolve into barbarians. Racism, sexism, homophobia, bigotry, religious indolence (this is especially bad in Scottish football with Old Firm rivals Celtic and Rangers, more details here) and even violence. The thing is, I lived in Glasgow for a while for work and have visited the city several times and at night this is one of the friendliest places I've ever been. However, when an Old Firm Derby is on only one of three kinds people have any business being on the streets; The riot police. The aforementioned plumbers turned barbarians. The blooded victims of either 1 or 2. Come Monday, the 2's will go to work and when asked about what they were up to at the weekend they always say, "Yeah, it was alright. Watched the game. The referee was a *insert derogatory term" cunt. If that fucking ni**er hadn't missed that penalty we would have won it.". Casual as you like, as if they had done and just said nothing at all wrong. It's crazy. I haven't associated myself with football fandom for years and this is the prime reason why.

  17. you keep saying you're sorry, but you keep doing. You just posted over 30 times in less that 45 minutes. How am I supposed to believe that you are paying any attention and posting with foresight and care at that kind of pace? If was to read those posts one by one, would they have had point? Would they all have a purpose? I warned you already on @m76 thread on NFT's and I'm telling you again. Starting taking this seriously or I'm going to start deleting posts.

  20. That's a tough question. On the one hand I like the Animal Crossing route of choosing every single little thing to line my house with, and on the other hand I like the preset installments of The Elder Scrolls V: Hearthfire, or any of the house additions that you get in Fallout. Sometimes it's not worth the hassle to do it all yourself, and sometimes it's a nice downtime activity to put your materials to use.

I'm starting from the basic in GT7, with an average road car, trying to ride my way up getting the better cars in the game. My credits are low but with time in it's career mode I can get to a higher point and purchase the best cars in the game.
