I've been making Youtube videos for a while now and thought subscribers and viewers would come more naturally but that hasn't been the case,I make gaming videos as I've been playing videogames since i was 5 years old and like to think i'm pretty good at them, I like to do game walkthrough/playthroughs and speedruns (Currently hold world record for Devil May Cry 5 Heaven Or Hell catergory), I really like Devil May Cry,Resident Evil,Tekken and Mortal Kombat. Holy shit! I was in the queue for the timed sales, and managed to snag one. I got the Horizon Forbidden West bundle because that was all that was left. But I don't care, I got one. Also I know nothing about the game, even though I'm going to have the both of them. So can anyone tell me about HFW? What kind of game is it? Either way, I GOT ONE!!!!

For example, would you ever like to see CD Projekt Red make GTA? Maybe RARE making a Call of Duty game. This is just a what if scenario, obviously none of this will ever happen, at least not most of these studios and games. But, what if things were changed around, and these studios were making different games? I'd love to see RARE take on some Nintendo games, push them back into making those types of games. But what about you? What studios out there, would you like to see tackle an IP from another studio?

Yeah, but they succeeded in that. Yeah there was some worry that Halo would have failed, but ever since 343 took over, it seemed to have done just fine. Yeah some of the games were lacking, but for the most part, the past and current Halo games did well and are doing well. It's because they haven't changed the formula much since like WWE 2K13 or something. I don't know how many times I've watched the same animations in most of the newer games. Even the newest game reuses some of the same animations. But with the newer game, it's actually good again. Though I still think another team should take over. It's partly to do with the WWE as well. They allowed these studios to keep producing crap games, and this is what happens. They gave 2K an ultimatum pretty much that they had to make a good game, otherwise they would be moving on to another studio. So WWE 2K22 is 2K's last chance to wow the WWE people. If this game doesn't do good sales wise, we may be seeing another studio taking the reigns.

If you have time for it, it's part of what gaming is designed for. I've been down that road, and it's fun when you have a way of playing in a healthy way that it doesn't pose any health challenges for you.

I would say something like an RTS would be much better to play with a keyboard and mouse. Though that has more to do with the nature of how those games play as opposed to anything skill related. In regards to keyboard and mouse making you better at FPS games, I noticed it was primarily the low tier competitive players bragging the most about what equipment they have that makes them superior to the filthy casuals. They get super salty when you beat them with “inferior” equipment because they believe owning that stuff makes you a better gamer. You gotta buy a mechanical keyboard because it gives you milliseconds of an advantage, and it has to be a PS2 mechanical keyboard, because those don’t have key rollover like a USB keyboard. So buy a motherboard that has PS2 inputs. Oh, sorry, I just beat you with a cheap $20 off-brand 360 controller…

That episode is one of my favourites. Like the one in the OP, I find it fascinating how the creators take a fairly mundane happening and snowball it out of proportion. What I'd give to be a fly on the wall when they're in the writing room.

Have you checked out Unpacking? I think that it's something that falls within the category of what you would like to play. Maybe you should look into it. 2K have been killing WWE games for a while with all their bugs/glitches. It's been more than what gamers can take and most people share the same feelings as well. The franchise needs to be taken away from 2K but the question is who would do justice to the game?

Unless somebody has something important to add please by all means feel free to do so, otherwise don't waste any more time and energy on this clusterfuck of a thread and let it fall down where it belongs, because it's still to me unclear what this thread is about and i'm probably not the only one. Clearly the orginal poster just came here to start annoying people to the border line where they are trolling the forum. Despite our best efforts to engage in a meaningfull discussion all they did was ignoring that and just continued their posting rampage.

The hardware is as powerful as it needs to be, its Nintendo's third party developers who don't quite get the architecture to push it to its necessary limits. The first party lineup features consistently high frame-rates with astonishing graphical fidelity. I suppose that's only a problem if you want more from the third party lineup, which I did, and it's why I quickly got rid of the console. I had my fun but wanted more games and at the time weren't available. I'll definitely pick up the Switch in the future when just about all its first party titles are released. I wouldn't buy a Switch of any kind to be "competitive" unless it was for a Nintendo-exclusive game like Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros (even then the latter may benefit from third party fighting game controllers). The console and its controls are serviceable but aren't as precise as a mouse, even if both were playing at 30 FPS. That said this may be the beginnings of a good argument for graphical settings on console games, which I think has become a thing recently with different presets (performance versus graphical fidelity). That's for another thread though, I'll not derail this one.

Definitely the $15 million isn't going to be very difficult pay for Microsoft to take care of without feeling anything. It's the PR that's going to follow it up that might be a challenge. Depending on the duration of his current contract would determine if it's fair for them to keep him on the job or not. If it's not long, there wouldn't be any need to fire him and pay $15 million.

This has kinda taken a turn. I get that JK Rowling is a piece of shit human being, but maybe we should keep the subject on the game itself. Since JK Rowling literally has nothing to do with Hogwarts Legacy or the future of Harry Potter, I say we let her go and move on to actually discussing the game. Yeah she helped create this world, but she has no control of it anymore. She has no say what happens, how it begins and ends, who is in it, etc. The movies are cutting her out, and so are the games. I think she's done, nothing can bring her back from the mess she made. If you don't like this game because she was the original creator of Harry Potter, that's fine, but maybe lets move this discussion about JK Rowling somewhere else? Like a topic area that more matches it. That way we can discuss this in more depth and leave the game out of it.

That's not what happened at all. He claims it was consensual but addmited to using methaqualone for "casual sex" with woman many years his junior. Then in 2018 he was found guilty and convicted of 3 counts of aggravated indecent assault and sentenced to 3 years in prison. I don't believe it's true, if you suck at the game you suck at it , using a mouse or controller doesn't make you a lot more better at it.

This is a gaming centric topic, so I'll move it to the general gaming sub-forum, I have to agree. Games today just don't offer the kind of upfront value they used to with them being so incomplete. They get chopped into bits and sold back to us instead of being a simple, convenient one-off purchase. An argument could be made that games are larger and do offer more value for money than the perhaps they used to and and it would be true of a lot of them, but they're more creatively inept and so similar to each other that it feels like you're playing the same shit all the time, and that's before we get to the people who keep buying the same tired franchises year after year like COD or FIFA. I still believe that you can have amazing experiences with games today, maybe better than ever before, but it's so much work to find such games these days.

They don't have to. The thing about the Switch, is that it works how it was intended. It may be behind the powerhouse Xbox and PS5, but that doesn't mean it can't play a lot of great games. You have to consider the Switch as a gameboy/console hybrid. And that's probably the best of both worlds. Considering the 3DS, DS and Gameboy brands have sold a shit ton over the years, it's perfect to combine that with a home console and it works so well. I think it's close to overselling the Wii, or it may have already. It's one of the best selling consoles ever.
