Head_Hunter reacted to Knight Plug in I finally conceded, and have giving up on Resident Evil...
I was more interested in this spin off title that was talked about before, codenamed Outrage, with Rebecca Chambers. It was supposedly going to be the third Revelations game, until the title change. It was meant to be about Rebecca working in a university campus, where the students end up becoming infected and act like tougher zombies, and your health was said to be crucially low near the beginning. Natalia Korda was going to be serving as an antagonist, due to Alex Wesker being in her mind. But so far, Capcom hasn't confirmed this is even a real game.
To me, it seemed more indicative of the franchise's core roots, as opposed to the fantasy type ideas they've been incorporating as of late.

No one knows what Capcom is cooking in their studio. Who knows, maybe they're working on getting the latest RE game onboard.

Head_Hunter reacted to Shagger in Monster Hunter Rise
I have been playing video games for 30 years, and I can never think of a time where I forgot what platform I was playing a game on, especially recently. In fact, I am fairly confident I would remember, for the most part, what platform I played any memorable game on. Sorry , but something is off here. Even on modern platforms I'd know if I was playing on Xbox, PC, PlayStation and certainly on switch. I feel a lot of your posts are a bit off. For a start, both the PC and Switch planforms use very different control prompts and default icons that it is impossible to make that kind of mistake. You literally can not play an Nintendo Game nor or PC game with PlayStation button prompts and icons and not recognise that there is some sort of problem unless you are blind. PC games use XBox control icons as defaults, a format Nintendo copied. There is no way in my mind you could have made that mistake.
Also, nobody refers to PC gaming as "Microsoft Windows PC". Gamers say "PC", because "PC" games can be played on Linux or MacOS. So, what is going on?

No kidding. Maybe when I was still a kid that would have been comfortable. But it just doesn’t work for me anymore. What is your current gaming setup to stay comfortable?
That is true! Did you learn anything visiting the site that steered you toward a purchase?
Have you grabbed the discount and used it yet?

Which of the extras are the ones that are moving you toward a purchase?
That is a great point! This is something that I tend to think a lot about, partly because I sometimes write advertising copy, and partly because it is just one of my interests. What features of their presentation did you enjoy most?
I know, right? It would already be an amazing value even without the discount. The discount is just a bonus. So, I take it that you would get it if it was at full price even?

Head_Hunter got a reaction from Knight Barida in Do you lose track of your surroundings when you game?
xD, I can't allow such kind of thing to happen to any of my siblings or relatives closer to me. That is over addiction crying out loud.

Head_Hunter got a reaction from Knight Barida in Have you ever tried your hand at making your own mobile game?
Maybe you go for unity since it has that option of RPG maker. I never heard about such platform before.

Head_Hunter reacted to The Blackangel in Xbox Buys Activision. Sony Buys Bungie. Where is Nintendo in this buying craze?
In terms of availability, that's a fair comparison. Otherwise, I agree with @Head_Hunter.

Head_Hunter got a reaction from Knight Barida in Do you always have to have the latest phone?
Yes buddy, it wouldn't be on my plans anytime soon, unless I see reasons to get it. At least my network bandwidth, is running smoothly, executing my tasks the way I want it.

Head_Hunter reacted to Prof elohstar in Have you been successful before via any gaming contest you participated in?
Oh that's cool. Actually the contest/tournaments we do organised is not in-house. It's a tournament organised for participants who resides in our country. Lots of prices and in-game gift items to be awarded to winner and runner up. It's really an interesting tournaments and I was the one with the highest number of trophies till I retire from the tournament.

Head_Hunter got a reaction from Knight Barida in How many gaming headsets have you gone through?
You're correct, it's just in a form of debate between two opposing individuals and they simply back their best online gaming store due to how good that one has been for them.

Head_Hunter got a reaction from Crazycrab in How do you personally define RPGs?
Well said Crazycrab, that's the true definition of RPG, it involves challenges from opponents. Such challenge keeps pushing the player to keep the progress alive, moving to the next level.

Head_Hunter got a reaction from Family sedan in What was the most underrated Gran Turismo game?
That's for them, I won't entangle myself into such kind of a thing. I just like being myself and doing what I love around video games.

Their is nothing more pleasing when you go for the product you desire so much and get it at a discount price. And the 10% discount given out by the company is another encouraging one to push for the products massive sales.

Head_Hunter reacted to Crazycrab in How do you personally define RPGs?
The definition is in the name, "Role Playing Game", but it's kind of a loose definition these days.
Back in the 80's and 90's when different genres of gaming were being defined the RPG was a clear and specific style which included games like Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda, Earthbound and so on. You "played a role" actively engaging in a story. The goal being to experience the story and challenges from the perspective of the character(s) your playing.
In most other genre's like side scrollers, beat-em-ups, shooters, Tournament Fighters, sports games and so on were more simple and monotonous. They were not as focused on storytelling and characters and the goal was generally always the same. Get to the end of the stage, beat your opponent, get the high score, win the game, you get the idea.
Since then though, the elements that once defined RPG's have made their way into just about every other genre and the line between RPG and everything else has gotten a little blurry. There are still RPGs that are clear cut like Final Fantasy XV, Skyrim and Fallout 4. Then there's some that seem kinda debatable, like is Dark Souls an RPG or a hack and slash? Is GTA V an RPG or a sandbox? Is Metal Gear Solid V an RPG or a Stealth action game? Are any of them both... CAN they be both?
Like @Head_Hunter said:
It's so unclear now that everyone has a different idea of what an RPG is. It's an interesting discussion. For me though, I going to stick as close as possible to the original definition.
An RPG is a game that includes gameplay challenges for the player but where experiencing the story and characters remains the primary objective. Other game genre's are capable of engaging the player in a way that pushes them with the sentiment of "I want to get past this part to see what happens next". Any game that is pushing you forward for another reason however, is most certainly NOT one.

I really don't know what's running in their mind. I just hope Capcom get something doing and reveal it on time before it gets too late.

Not yet. I don't really believe in ghosts though.
95% of my income is from my offline job. I do a few tasks online as well though. It's for a task based company called Tellus AI and then I just use that money to invest in the stock market.
