At my Walmart right now, they have a 75" Samsung going for $798. Which kinda pisses me off, because just a few years ago, I bought the exact same TV from the exact same Walmart for $2000.

Being a sociopath, I'm completely desensitized to violence. It doesn't phase me a bit to see someone get hurt. I actually enjoy it. But do I go out with the intent to hurt anyone? No. I don't care enough about people to waste my time on them. If I hurt someone in the process of conducting my own business, then oh well. I'm not going to stop to see if they are ok. Because I don't care. Did a video game make me do it? Did a band make me do it? Did a movie make me do it? No, no, and no. The strong minded know where to draw the line. The weak minded let outside forces dictate their actions. Make damn sure you know that I am not referring to those abused as weak minded. That is a whole other set of circumstances completely unrelated to this topic.

Most Satisfying Zombie Shooter Game of All Time?
The Blackangel replied to Ok_Attempt's topic in Video Games
I'm surprised no one mentioned Doom. While it has monsters and skeletons mostly, it still has a fair amount of zombies. -
Anything can incite violence. Whether it's something as petty as a video game, or something serious as rape. It all depends on the individual. Now, I'm not going to go on a political tirade, but there is always the minuscule possibility that the government is using a video game for a nefarious purpose. It's highly unlikely, but it can't be called impossible. In the 80's there was the Satanic Panic. People were falsely labeling people as Satanic. they were unjustly trying to connect them to crimes they hadn't committed. Fast forward a few years to Columbine. The fault for that was Marilyn Manson. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were brainwashed by Manson to shoot up their school. There is always a scapegoat for violence. And behind that scapegoat is always some political involvement. Even if it's just a tiny bit. And in some of these instances, the term "political" doesn't mean government. It's a more generic term. I don't know how to define it in words, but I'm sure everyone knows what I mean.

I play Layers Of Fear: Legacy on my Switch a lot. I've had no problem with bugs on it. It's a great game if you're into the horror genre. It reminds me a lot of the movie Rose Red. If that one just isn't doing it for you, you can always try Slender: The Arrival.

10 Games to Chill Out and Lower Your Stress Levels
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming News
Low graphic games are best for me usually. Atari quality. I like Galaga, Asteroids, Q*Bert, Frogger, and Space Invaders for the most part. There are a lot on later systems up through the N64, but I don't feel like taking the time to list them. I do have to mention one though. On Switch there's a game called Ascendance. It has got to be the most soothing and relaxing game in existence. -
It seems like the type of game that would appeal more to us that are classic gamers. Modern gamers are typically driven by more heavily scripted and in depth games. For example if you compare Skyrim to Zelda 2. On NES, Zelda 2 was about as open world as it got. And there was no map. No one had a clue where they were going, or what they were doing without a shitload of trial and error. No, not Error (he was a pointless asshole). But finding the temples was next to impossible. Ad when you did there was no knowing if you were in the right one. They looked 100% exactly alike. More so than the first Zelda. It truly got confusing. Now if you take Skyrim, everything is new and different. You probably won't be doing the same thing twice. At least it seems that way from the limited amount of time I have spent playing it. Classic gamers love simplicity. Modern gamers love complexity. It all boils down to that.

It looks great. I'm definitely interested in getting it, even before I get a PS5.

Any good space exploration games?
The Blackangel replied to Reality vs Adventure's topic in Video Games
Ok, I watched the trailer and I have one question left. Is it strictly an exploration game, or are there any kind of combat parts in it? I'm just not getting what the plot of the game is. -
I wish I could say otherwise, but I have to agree with @Shagger on this. The sad reality is that the world needs a scapegoat, so everyone can absolve themselves of their own shortcomings and fuckups. For a while it was all the middle east's fault. Then it was more focused on Muslims specifically. It was the Jews fault for a very long time before that. Now it's all the China's fault. Next it will be more directed at being the Americans fault due to American superiority, greed, and entitlement. I just wonder who is going to come after us. Someone is always to blame, except the guilty ones.

I know exactly what a Scottish accent is like. A lot of my family maintained their accent after crossing the pond. I even had the accent for a while when I was a kid. But as I grew up here in the states I developed an American southern accent.

Any good space exploration games?
The Blackangel replied to Reality vs Adventure's topic in Video Games
I would recommend one on NES, but it had one fatal flaw. The controls were so sensitive that with a breath on the D-Pad, the fucking ship would spin uncontrollably. But if you’re willing to hate space games for the next 30 years, then go ahead and give Solar Jetman a try. -
Other games you think deserve the Among Us treatment?
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
I can’t think of a specific game, but I would love to see the NES get a revival. Not that sickening flashback bullshit. The real NES. Play some unique games for once people. Give the puked up carbon copies a fucking rest. -

Dead men tell no tales. Not true. All men tell tales. Their culture, environment, and experiences tell a lit. If someone is found dead, their body can often say more than their tongue. The unspoken word is always louder than the spoken one. -
Adolf Trump obviously has a lifetime subscription to that game.

I don’t speak jackass, so I have no clue what you jackasses said.

I’m just watching game 5 of the cup. It’s do or die for Dallas. If Tampa Bay wins tonight, then they will have won the cup. I do have to say that it feels weird to be watching the Stanley Cup in September.

Would you want to rule benevolently or malevolently?
The Blackangel replied to Jakeyjake's topic in General Chat
I don’t care enough about humanoid life to waste my time or energy. If they want to worship me, then all I have to say about that is go for it. Praying to me would be in vain, because I wouldn’t answer, assuming I even knew it was happening. As long as they didn’t get in my way, they would see an uninterested goddess, that truly doesn’t give a shit about them. If they did get in my way, they would go extinct. -
TMNT Tournament Fighters on NES is pretty fun.

The first one on NES is my favorite. Being able to switch turtles at will any time you want was the best feature of the game. But getting into the Technodrome was always a high. Shredder is unfortunately a pussy, but the rest of the game is great. The only part I actually hate is trying to survive the fucking electrified seaweed to defuse the bombs at the dam.
