Anachiwo Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 Some people actually start playing video games at a very young age. How old were you when you were introduced to playing video games? Mine was around the age of 6 years old.

DylanC Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 I was around 4-5 years old and the first gaming device I owned was an Amstrad CPC 464 home computer.

Wow, that's so awesome to to have already started playing games so early. I was still too caught up with getting attached to my mother as a first child. The game was there but I never played at 2 years.
Patrik Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 I started at the age of 4 in a cybercafé with the popular flash game "The Skull Kid", i'm 20 in the next month and still gaming and never regretted doing that!
Anders Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 I think the first game I remember playing was probably Sim Town on the PC. It was a simplified version of Sim City more aimed at kids. I must have been 5 or 6 at the time.
Kane99 Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 I believe I was around 3 when I started playing. I don't remember officially what I played, but I think it was SMB3. I just know, because my mom and sister told me they got me into games early on. The first game that I owned and played was the first TMNT game. 😄
Syntax Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 I think I got my first console when I was maybe 8-9?
staticradio725 Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 I played a few point-and-click PC games as a child, but I didn't really get into gaming or own a console until I was in college, when a friend introduced me to it. I really think there are a lot of video games franchises out there that are popular because people grew up playing them, and I've always sort of been locked out of the loop on that.
Family sedan Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 I started playing PC and handheld games at age 7 and got my first PlayStation at age 13.
Albertlovecandy Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 I was around 7 years old with the PS3.
Jaiin13 Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 I clearly remember playing game boy color (I had the green one) in school when I was 5 or 6. I had probably played some simple pc game before, like Pinball or Solitaire haha but I'm not sure.
JennyorAlice Posted February 6, 2021 Posted February 6, 2021 I think I was around 5 or 6 when I started playing my first video games. I was 5 or 6 when we got the NES and I've been a gamer ever since.
