I couldn't get into RDR2 either, I think it's the fact that the process of skining animalls, looting bodies and so on is animated. It's pretty cool to watch and technically impressive but its SO slow and tedious. In most other open world games you can loot almost instantly and that's what I'm used to.

There are no LGBTQ themes in The Last of Us II, I'm sorry, but if you cannot see that, you are no better than the people you are criticizing, because you think of LGBTQ inclusion as if it's automatically political. Both of you view them as political puppets at that point. The inclusion of a gay couple, is not political. TLOU2 never makes a fuss about the included characters LGBTQ status, it's all seamless and natural. Like it should be. LGBTQ people are not defined by their LGBTQ status. You can't just lump them together, like that is all you need to describe them as individuals. If the game had made any mention of BLM it would not make sense, because it doesn't exist in the game world, so of course I'd not approve of it. But if it existed in that universe, mentioning it wouldn't be an issue, unless they automatically pass judgement on it as well. I can't believe I'm gonna say this but I actually think that @m76 is (at least particaly) right. I've not played through the entire game yet but to the best of my knowledge, the only time when LQGTQ+ social/political themes come into play is the "bigot sandwich scene" and the flashback sequence that plays out the events that led up to this from the previous night. Note that in the video it plays chronologically, which is the opposite way from how it's presented in the game. I find these sequences interesting because it's obvious that it frames the Seth character as being in the wrong it doesn’t really frame Ellie as being entirely right either. She's short-tempered, confrontational, and has a dismissive attitude especially towards Joel and later Seth when he is trying to apologize. It presents itself from a certain perspective, in this case, an LBGTQ+ positive one but lets you make your own judgment about these characters handle the situation. Which in my opinion the 100% right way to do it.

I was always curious about Lolipop Chainsaw. I never got it on PS3 and it's never been re-released on curren't gen or PC. If you enjoyed Witcher 3 then you'll almost certainly enjoy Skyrim as well. They are similar but have different qualities that I personally don’t think makes either one is better than the other, just different. For example, in Skyrim you play as your own created character but In Witcher 3 you play as a pre-written one. That means Witcher 3 is less of a sandbox and it won’t allow you to do anything that Geralt wouldn't do, like run around beating up and murdering his potential clients. Whereas in Skyrim you can pretty do whatever you want. With that being said Witcher does have better (and for more mature) storytelling IMO and a lot fewer bugs to deal with.

I've heard them all before and they are just terms made up by elitist fuckheads (mostly PC fanboys) trying to put other people down because they feel insecure or unsatisfied with their own existence. As of right now, I have 180 active mods on Skyrim and here are my top 10. Note that These links are all from Nexus mods and are for the Special Edition but I believe that they are all available on the standard one as well. Also note that this list will focus on content mods so bug fixs and utillites such as the Unofficial Patch, SkyUI, and Amazing Follower Tweeks though recomended (and in some cases required) arn't included. Sjel Blad Castle A MASSIVE customisable player home full of NPC's that you can hire scavenge in the world for Alchmical ingredints, ores, weapons armor, meat, pelts.. you name it! There are also traders, followers, animal compantions and a teleport system to each of hold capitalsd and solsteim. It would take to long to explain it all and I would conmsider this the ultimite player home mod if weren't for two problems. Numbner one is that some features are incomplete (and may never be) and that one of those features is the childrens wing so it not Hearthfire compatible. Lakeview Extended With that in mind If Hearthfire is a concern, I recommend this one. It adds to the original Hearthfire player home with new buildings, features, trader NPC's, followers but without de-railing or restricting the original Hearthfire experience. DeserterX Armours (Some are NSFW and require a body mod like UNP or BBE) These are some of the coolest, beautifully crafted and in many cases, sizzling Armor mods I have seen and the guy is still putting them out. They certainly won't be for everyone but I love these designs. Immesrive College of Winterhold If you ever thought that the College of Winterhold was a little drab for a place dedicated to the study of magics this will certainly fix that. It adds a bunch of cosmetic changes like furniture, wall coverings and artifacts. Also new botanical gardens, alterations to AI so that the other students actually participate in classes practicing their spells and even a new "The Midden” Questline where you get to explore the ruins of the fallen Winterhold. It makes the College feel so much more alive. Sofia - The Funny Voiced Follower Sofia is a follower fully voiced custom follower who you find passed out in the stables outside of Whiterun. She tags along with making off-color comments and jokes about you, the game, NPC's, quests often breaking the 4th wall and it is hilarious! You can even give her alcohol and she wanders around blind drunk! Well worth at least one playthrough with her... until she totally gets on your nerves! M'rissi's Tails of Troubles Another custom voiced follower but this one quite different. It features a full questline with multiple choices and you try to uncover M'rissi's past and keep her safe from the Aldmeri agents that are pursuing her. It's a gripping and at times very dark adventure. The Kids are Alright (With Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions) Unfortunately, as I have just found out this mod is no longer available on Nexus because some asshats where reuploading lewd versions of it so the author (understandably) set it to hidden. The child NPC’s in the original game where a bit of an afterthought and all looked and dressed pretty much the same. This was a complete overhaul of the children in the game giving each of them their own unique look as well as adding new clothing sets (including armor), a bunch of other adoptable and even hostile NPCs to the game. You could even adopt vampires and undead skeletons if you wanted to! Shame it's been taken down, guess I'll have to keep a safe back up of the archive file now. Helgen Reborn This is an extensive lore-friendly quest mod where you, of course, rebuild Helgen, the town that was destroyed at the beginning of the game. Fully voiced NPC's (including one friggin hilarious Arnold Schwarzenegger impression), new armor, followers, merchants, and a player home to top off a great story. The Forgotten City This is a mod that is so amazing and got so many accolades that not only did the guy that made it got a job in the game industry full time as a developer, but the mod is getting expanded into its own release as a full stand-alone title! I don't want to give away to much but it starts with a letter from a woman who has lost someone in a forgotten Dwarven ruin that you will have to explore to find a way out. The design of the quest is simply brilliant where you will have to think outside the box to solve the mystery of the place and get out alive. Legacy of the Dragonborn Quite simply, The One Mod to Rule them all! Legacy of the Dragon is a gigantic expansion to the original game that had been added to, patched, and updated for years. Lore friendly with Dozens of new fully voiced NPC's and a New Guild. It' got Multiple questlines, dungeons and player homes with every utility you can possibly imagine. Then there is the Legacy of the Dragonborn Museum itself, a huge complex with custom displays for pretty much every single unique weapon, armor item, book, and more in the game and DLC’s. Not to mention it adds new and much-improved skins for them as well as adding hundreds of unique new weapons and items of its own. Hell if you add the right patches you even get custom displays to form unique items found in other mods like The Forgotten City and Helgen Reborn. It's INSANE how much content is in this thing! I reckon it adds at least another 80 hours to the game and none of it even feels like a filler! If you were to install just one mod to Skyrim, make it this one and any patches that you need.

All of that is fair enough, I see lots of people that dislike the new Lara and prefer the old one for those reasons and that’s fine... Then you kept going on... You are WAY outa line, again! I never said or implied anything close to that so stop trying to put words in my mouth. One game I enjoyed very much this gen was Tales of Berseria. The main character is dark and has a tragic back story that lets you sympathize with her, even when her actions and attitude are very questionable which they frequently are. Also, she looks like this: I think I said on another thread recently that my top game on PS4 was Horizon Zero Dawn and part of that was because of how witty, smart, empathetic and fun the main protagonist Aloy was. All this in spite of the fact that she is VERY ugly, you would have to be blind drunk and high on magic mushrooms to want to sleep with... Ugh… this (sarcasm): So @m76, if you think I'm someone who thinks that "sexuality is a bad thing that should be eradicated" you better back the fuck off right now! I got no issue with sexy characters, what I don't like is shallow characters regardless of how they look. What I actully said was: The reason I said is that, like it or not, it's the truth. Ask any straight teenage boy to describe the "perfect woman", what you think they are going to say? Rich as hell - check Big Boobs - check Athletic - check Tight clothes - check Action-packed lifestyle with guns and speedboats - check Sound like anybody we know? Like I said before I do respect the old Tomb Raider games, even though I don’t enjoy them very much. Lara was one of the first lone playable female protagonists to get mainstream success paving the way for others to follow and they deserve credit for that. That doesn't change the fact one of the main reasons if not THE main reason they got that success was the sexualized design of the character and her marketing. They obviously weren't confident that a game with a female on the cover would sell on the merits of its gameplay alone. So they pandered to everything that I said above and you what, at the time they were absolutely right. That was over 20 years ago, female characters don't need this shallow anymore and as I said before they can still be sexy. Hell, even the new Lara ain't exactly hideous, it’s just that one was a product of the time and the other is a product of evolution.

In addition to the aformentioned Delphine and all those shapes that fell down the stairs inside a ball from Final Fantasy XIII: Roman Belic: Wanna know what I find this guy so irritating, this vid form the sadly late, kitty0706, pretty much sums it up. Lara Croft (original): I'm of the school that much prefer the new Tomb Raider games for multiple reasons. I am willing to forgive and even respect the earlier games to some degree since they were among the first of their kind, but the way they controlled frustrated me even back then. The mechanics, controls and the more visceral and mature nature of the new titles makes them superior in every way. For me though the biggest disparity is the character itself. The old Lara was arrogant, pompous, stuck up and only popularised as a fantasy for horny teenage boys. Even in the Angelina Jolie movies I couldn't stand her! The new Lara is more relatable, developed, compassionate and believable. Talion (Shadow or Mordor): Yes, I did put the game's title in bold in brackets next to the charater in question on purpose because I'm willing to bet you have no idea who this guy is, EVEN if you have actully played the fucking game! I've seen other characters described as wooden planks, but I am genuinely not playing it up here when I say this guy has so little personality I can't even find any words to describe him outside of "white guy". I'll still maintain that Snow who @Shagger described is the worst character that Troy Baker has ever voiced, but at least that frosted tipped douche offers something to talk about!

The only problem I've had with Windows 10 when it comes to gaming is that the audio sometimes briefly cuts off in game. I'm certain it's a software issue because the same thing happens my speakers and headset.

Horizon Forbidden West for me. I loved the first one and the new one looks terrific based on the trailers so far. I especially look forward to how this new "Haptic Feedback" on the Dualsense controller works with the bow and stuff.

I'm going to nominate @Alexander.. Relatively new to the forum but had contributed a lot of meaningful posts.

I remember a lot of people complaining about it at the time and I didn't understand why. More mature story, vastly improved dialogue and interesting new mechanics like the gambit system. It had some issues but the new release if the Zodiac version has fixed most of those.

This is an underatted game, worth checking out.

THAT Listen @m76, anyone who has told or in some way tried to convince you of that is either racist, not very smart or most likely both. It's just an excuse to sweep this problem, and it is a legitimate international problem, under the rug and go back to a state of blissfull ignorance. Now like @Shagger pointed out, a small number of people are using the protests as a window to break the law and spread anarchy but that is NOT what BLM is about. Now I'm not racist in any way but I do admit like so many until recently I let myself be blinded to these issues without even realising I was doing it. But I see it now and we ALL need to wake up.

Since the gameplay was leaked it's been getting lots of attention and it's not hard to see why, It looks incredible! I reckon it's only a matter of time before some western publisher pays to distribute it, hell their probably bidding as we speak. Of course it would be better if the developer can afford to finish the game and publish it themselves globally. I really hope this turns out well and we can all enjoy this.

I hope there is an FOV/zoom controll or somthing because i really don't like how far away the camera is. It seems that there are some larger bosses and what not but for the most past it's just wasting a lot of screen real estate which might be an bigger problem on the switch.
