  1. Yesterday
  2. I bought my kids the Oculus Quest 2 this past Christmas as a gift and at the moment, I have not purchased anything else other than games for the headset. We are looking into the best head strap with a battery to go for at the moment and the Elite Strap with battery seems to be the one crying out to me at the moment. When it comes to a head strap and battery, what would you recommend for the Oculus Quest 2?
  3. As gamers, some of us have a dream of one day being part of a specific Esports team whilst others are content just playing the video games they enjoy for fun rather than competitively as you would in Esports. Do you dream of being part of any specific Esports team? Which team would you love to be part of if you were given the chance?
  4. Game chat on consoles when playing video games has always had it's issues, you will always get someone who feels they need to be awful to someone in the lobby or even someone who is rude and abusive or doesn't know when to mute their microphone or keep their TV turned down when they have their microphone active. With how online chat can be on consoles now, has this put you off using in-game chat when playing an online game?
  5. I used to love this game and was so sad when they stopped it and took it away. I feel with how popular gaming is now and gaming becoming more inclusive, this game would be super popular. I would love to see it back too!
  6. This one has always been my favourite and will continue to be my favourite for years to come, one of the very reasons a game became my all time favourite when I was younger. Yoshi is my favourite single-player video game character, probably different to many others options. My favourite game growing up was Yoshi's Island where you played as Yoshi and had to take care of baby Mario.
  7. I have yet to play this game but I know of people who have played the game and they have been mixed on how they feel about the game. A lot seem to have been disappointed in how short the game was and I can see why they were disappointed. The game for sure has a lot of mixed reactions and reviews, seems like a game you should play yourself to see how you find it.
  8. When it comes to playing games online, the ones I find excite me and give me that adrenaline rush are the ones I can run and gun on such as team deathmatch modes. Battle Royale modes in the dying last minutes of a game as well are also my favourites, especially if I win, that rush you get is amazing and never gets old.
  9. I used to feel like this when I was spending a lot of time playing video games either online or single-player video games. Since changing my line or work, I have not had as much time to play video games like I was doing, sometimes only a few hours a week and I will admit, I do miss it. Due to the lack of time I have to play video games, I tend to spend less now on video games too. I don't understand why I felt like I was wasting too much time though as it is a hobby of mine and I enjoyed it, maybe it was more a feeling of guilt?
  10. Last week
  11. It comes down to a choice. If one had to do one or the other knowing it was going to go wrong, how would you rather die? Outside of a sudden accident that will kill you quick, one of these two fates await you. A Pulmonary Edema or Decompression Sickness. Neither of them are at all pleasant, but I'd prefer the Pulmonary Edema. I've had Pneumonia, so at least I would be somewhat prepared for what it's like. So Mt Everest, please. OK, with Mt Everest your body would never be removed, but given what happens to the body is sever cases of Decompression Sickness, I'd rather mv loved ones not have a body to bury that have what's left after a deep sea mishap.
  12. Everest is a cemetery. There are hundreds of dead bodies on it. The most famous is Green Boots. Sure, after the centuries of sailors there are more in the oceans, but that's a whole different set of circumstances. I would say you have a smaller chance of dying in the ocean than you do on Everest. As for rescue, that's why there are hundreds of bodies on the way up. There is no rescue on that mountain. You die, you stay right where you drop. You have to have special breathing equipment because if you just try to breathe normally when you're starting to get up there in elevation, your lungs will freeze. I'll happily take my chances in the ocean.
  13. A solo sport is simply one where we have two players competing against each other. An example is boxing. When you are asked to make a pick, which one would you say is your favourite?
  14. Chelsea fc suffered one of their biggest loss in the league this season to Arsenal fc at the Emirates. Chelsea fc were without their top scorer, Cole Palmer, in the game and ended up not scoring a goal while letting in 5 goals at their end. Do you think the team is all about Cole Palmer?
  15. You are right and that is exactly what is happening to Manchester United of England. Not having quality players on the bench seems to be costing the team a lot at this moment.
  16. I will pick team sports as well. To be able to get along with watching a couple of players make up a team, such as a football team, is what tells me what teamwork is all about and I am in for it most of the times.
  17. This is what I think as well. How would anyone consider gaming as a total waste of time. As long as I am not addicted, I will definitely be happy about playing such games.
  18. I will always go with the chaotic fun of Battle Royale. That is what can make me enjoy playing those kinds of games, I must say.
  19. I wondered how difficult it would have been at that point in time. I mean, when you had high hopes about a game, only to be disappointed at the end of the day.
  20. Allowing Microsoft/Activision acquisition to go through is a shockwave throughout the gaming community. Since then it feels all is quiet because gamers feel like some wrong just happened.
  21. Honesty as a sega kid, I wish things were different and we did get a true successor to the Dreamcast. To be fair though, I wasn't the biggest fan of the Dreamcast when it first came out when I played Sonic Adventure at a Kmart Dreamcast kiosk at the age of 10. (I was stupid and though the game was too different from the Genesis games I was used to playing so I didn't like it at first. That all changed when I got the game on the Gamecube at the age of 15 lol.) It's a shame Sega did too many things that ultimately hurt them in the end.
  22. I get stressed out if there's lots to do at work. Just today I got a bit stressed since I had three coworkers come up right when we only had three minutes left to get tags from me. I was in the middle of getting things closed out, but since they came over at the last minute I had to rush and hurry up to get things done. I kind of snapped at my coworker a bit since he said "well now you've got a bit of a line." Bro, I know lol. I usually don't snap like that but today I was already a bit cranky.
  23. I absolutely love the world of ROM hacking and fan games! I'm part of the Sonic hacking community, I'm a judge in the Sonic Hacking Contest and this will be the third year in a row that I get to be a judge. I'm a tech member on Sonic Retro as well, since I have vast knowledge of how the 8-bit Sonic games work. I also like to play Pokemon rom hacks from time to time too, but I've only dabbled in Pokemon ROM hacking a little bit.
  24. I believed that my dad would get a ticket if I left the overhead light on in the car. :V Turns out you can't get a ticket, it was just a lie he told me. Apparently lots of parents do this though, I've read on Reddit that quite a few people fell for this as a kid too lol.
  25. Thankfully I have not been a victim of a scam. One of my coworkers almost fell for a scam once, but I helped him not fall down that rabbit hole by informing him to block the person on Facebook. He got a message from a good looking woman on Facebook, their conversation started out fine but then she started asking him for gift cards and I told him to block them immediately because that's a huge red flag.
  26. With Annie Palmer roaming around, it's freaky as hell. Especially with her being buried in an unmarked grave somewhere on the estate grounds of what was formerly her plantation. Yeah, there's that tomb near the house, but that's for tourists that don't know anything about Rose Hall. I would love to come back to Jamaica and go on another tour. If I'm lucky, we'll see the wicked bitch somewhere and I can tell her to eat shit if she gets on my nerves bad enough. This kind of thing is why @Rain Dew and I are paranormal investigators. We love the paranormal and anything that simply can't be explained. Cryptids are also a passion with our paranormal beliefs. There's just too much out there in this world that has no rational explanation except for being a cryptid or paranormal. I'm looking for The Rake, and I'm gonna nail his ass! Creepypasta, I know, but it's still fun to say!
  27. To be honest, I only get a few games a year now, if that. It's my DVD collection that my cash always goes to these days. 🤗
  28. I guess I have been snooty about Resident Evil, making me a gatekeeper too. But I just think that anybody who says RE4 or the RE Engine games were their first experience with the franchise are missing out, because the old games were way better. 😔 The remakes are mostly rubbish, you see. The RE3 remake doesn't include the clock tower section. You just see it in the distance, and Nemesis looks dumb when he morphs into the jelly blob thing he is in the latter half of the game. But there was a lot of other cut content too, so I believe the complaining about this stuff is justified. I hate typos. 🫢
  29. No man. We should never belittle ethics no matter what. Flirting with unethical experiments is the beginning of genocidal experimentation, claiming genocide for the greater good. Why are you are cleaning nazi diapers and spitting in your hand to part their hair? I disavow this post.
  30. The Hating Game (2021) - 7.5/10
  31. Just like @Ravenfreak, I was watching the first Fallout episode a few hours ago. I think I'm going to binge watch the rest of the episodes on Wednesday. That way I can enjoy it more. Cooper Howard is a character I quite like already.
  32. I mean, I've played the games before and I do play Fallout 4 quite often but I've just watched the first episode a few hours ago and I really loved it. I'm sure that we've had this conversation long before this series launched that the Fallout universe would make for an interesting series and we were right.
  33. Played some Dying light 2 with a couple of friends - was so much fun to kick them off the roof and into the hordes of zombies so that I could escape.
  34. We all know some animal or plant names could use a makeover. Which ones do you think deserve a new title? Whether it's because of misleading names, cultural sensitivity, or just for fun, give us your views. I'll start: A Sperm Whale - first of all, it doesn't look like semen, it's not even the same color! The name has never made sense to me - I must be blind like Stevie Wonder but I can't see why anyone would name it that.
  35. If your life had a narrator, who would you choose and why? Would Morgan Freeman's velvety voice add gravitas to your mundane moments, or maybe David Attenborough could make your daily commute sound like a wildlife expedition? Let's have some fun with this one!
  36. I felt like I haven't asked any really controversial questions in a while so here's one. Imagine a scenario where ethics were thrown out the window for the greater good. What unethical experiment, if successful, could potentially revolutionize society for the better? Let's brainstorm and debate the potential consequences and benefits. From genetic manipulation to extreme social engineering, what's your take?
  37. Have you ever participated in a game's beta testing phase? Whether it's hunting bugs, exploring new features, or simply getting a sneak peek, share your stories, highs, lows, and memorable moments below.
  38. Hey VGR! I've always been intrigued by the creativity of fan communities when it comes to mods and fan games. What's your take on them? Do you love diving into fan-created worlds, or do you prefer sticking to official content?
  39. Let's talk about the highs and lows of online gaming communities. What's one thing you absolutely love and can't get enough of? On the flip side, what's that one aspect that grinds your gears or leaves a bitter taste in your mouth? Whether it's the camaraderie, competitive spirit, or toxicity, let's hear it all. Remember, keep it civil and let's have a constructive discussion.
  40. Have you observed any uplifting changes lately? Whether it's increased inclusivity, more supportive communities, or innovative initiatives, share your findings here. Sometimes we place too much emphasis on the negative parts of the gaming culture and don't praise the positive parts enough.
  41. What's the first game that stole your heart and got you hooked on gaming? Was it a classic like Super Mario Bros., or perhaps a hidden gem that holds a special place in your heart. Share your first gaming love and let's reminisce about those unforgettable moments
  42. Honestly, I'd take my chances with Mount Everest. If you get into difficulties under the deep sea, you're more or less screwed. Yes, Mount Everest has its own set of challenges but you may have a slim chance of getting help or surviving long enough to get rescued. God knows what you'll even encounter down there lol.
  43. To be fair, you're not going to survive a suddenly active volcano either. Between the toxic fumes and incredible heat, you'll die quickly.
  44. I agree. I love team sports - soccer, basketball, hockey - you name it. I mean, I do love the X-games with the skaters and BMX riders competing as solos but I love team sports even more.
  45. It's mainly Japanese games as well for the GBA like some Zoids ones. My bro used to get them when he travelled there and bring them for me. It was a challenge navigating some of them but I enjoyed most of them nonetheless.
  46. Arc gaming platform sent me an email about this game this morning. It must be a sign that I probably should go and check it out. It does look like an interesting game and I've been looking for something unique to play and this might just be it. Something casual that I don't have to invest a lot of time into.
  47. So true - the late 80's to the mid 2000s was the best era of hip hop/rap. It's gone steadily downhill since then. Nowadays, I'm turned off by mainstream hip-hop/rap. It's so boring, generic, talentless and mind-numbing.
  48. I'd say something like Rocket League. A fun, casual game you can easily get into. What's not to love about it?
  49. Honestly, I've always wanted to cosplay as Master Chief but I've never gotten the chance to attend a gaming convention where Cosplay is allowed. Either that or I'd dress as Gray Fox from Metal Gear.
  50. I've done many things as a kid and never get caught. For instance, I used to take my mom's car and go to parties when she was asleep and come home at like 3-4 in the morning and snuck back in. She's never suspected a thing.
  51. I do believe in the Paranormal - there's the Rose Hall Great House in Montego Bay which does feel like it's haunted. It always feels like there's a malicious spirit roaming around the place.
  52. That's why I've stayed away from social media for the most part over the past decade. It's become such a toxic space that I don't use it unless it's absolutely necessary. Too much negativity, propaganda, and idiocy on places like Facebook and it's generally a huge waste of productive time. Time that could be spent enjoying something more worthwhile.
  53. Hmmm...I'd probably choose a fast food chain called Island Grill. Lots of Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Chicken Burgers - I'd be stuffing myself every day.
  54. To be honest, I wouldn't either. The whole thing just seems pointless - most of us would get mauled badly with the first attack from the bull. It's why I don't like things like rodeos either.
  55. I never cosplayed one of my favorites, I have however cosplayed as one of the Youngsters from the Generation 1 Pokemon games! I cosplayed as the "Hi I like shorts! They're comfy and easy to wear!" youngster when I went to a convention in 2018. I had a sign that had the line from the game on it in a text box that was based on the text box from the English generation 1 games that my wife made for me.
  56. As someone who believes in the paranormal, I loved hearing about Robert the Doll as well as Annabelle. Have you guys heard of the Sallie House? It was documented on the early 90's show called Sightings and Ghost Adventures/ Buzzfeed Unsolved also talked about the house. Legend has it that a young girl passed away in the house, she was brought to the house who was occupied by a doctor who thought she had appendicitis, so he gave her anesthesia but cut into her before it could kick in and she started screaming and bled to death. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sallie_House
  57. I have to go with Rally's/Checkers. They have the best fries ever, with only Arby's curly fries coming close. I like their chicken and burgers as well so I'd be content with only eating their food if I had the choice.
  58. My wife and I just started watching the Fallout series. We both like it so far, but we've only watched the first episode. Definitely looking forward to continuing it for sure! We don't have much time to binge watch it though, which is usually what I do though.
  59. I just started watching the series with my wife this afternoon, we only watched the first episode so far so I scrolled past the majority of the post. We're both enjoying it so far and will definitely continue watching it! I never played the games before, but I know a little bit of the franchise so I see things here and there that make me go "oh look, there's Nuke Cola!"
  60. Easy choice. Neither. But if I'm being forced to choose it's another easy answer. The deep sea. There's so much down there to see that it's just amazing. I could also do things such as visit the wreckage of the Titanic. I've seen relics and pieces of the ship, but to actually visit the ship in 80% of its entirety would just be awesome. Then going by the debris field between the two pieces of the ship would leave me speechless. If I had millions of dollars, I would commission a scale model of the ship. But to afford that, I would have to be at a point in wealth where I'm wiping my ass with $100 bills.
  61. Is anyone else into the paranormal? I love the whole subject, especially stories from other cultures. Some of my favorites are Spedlins Tower, the big grey man of Ben Macdhui, the moving coffins of Barbados, Okiku's Well, the duppies of Jamaica, La Llorona, and Monte Cristo just to name a few. There's thousands more from all over the world. The most infamous here in the states is easily the White House. But there's also other places like Hell House in New Orleans Louisiana and the Winchester house. Then there's objects like Annabelle and Robert, the Hope Diamond, and several works of art like The Anguished Man, The Crying Boy, and The Hands Resist Him paintings. There's dozens of other paranormal/haunted/daemonic places and objects that I haven't mentioned that I'm a fan of. But I want to hear what everyone else has to say. @Shagger and @Crazycrab Have you guys ever checked out either of the ones I mentioned? I would love to hear your thoughts on them!
  62. People rarely survive an avalanche. The force of the snow hitting them isn't much different that a wall of concrete hitting them. If they're not immediately killed by that, they usually tend to suffocate under the snow.
  63. Taco Cabana. You guys have that where you live? Used to be able to pile delicious sides for free onto your tray. I got so damn drunk, I ruined it for everyone else. I'm sorry. 😆
  64. Nothing like an alley-oop. Or a long pass caught, bam! He keeps runnin, Bam! Tried to knock him out of bounce. Oh wait!!! He back tossed, 10 seconds left, bam! He got knocked hard! But he side tossed it in time. He runs with the football for a touchdown, Bam! He fumbled in the air!!! The fattest and slowest line back caught it for a touchdown !!!!! Teamwork gets my vote. But then again, fuck teamwork. I trust nobody. MF catching a football will probably drop on purpose if he is lobbied by anasshooe.
  65. No way. Bulls are far superior in strength. Humans are great at cheating. Humans cannot match it without obvious advantages and cheats. Once the humans fail in their scheme and bulls take over harming humans, next thing you know humans resort to doing what they do best, just kill whatever because they were punked.
  66. Exploration games, I can't paint one as the go to.
  67. I wish I can go back and listen to every song you posted, would be bad ass. Actually, I'm gonna try it. I have to say though, if you are into rap, nothing like the golden ages of rap in 1995 MF. Something about the year, the air, everything. 1995.
  68. This is the best diss record I've heard in YEARS and it's from an RnB artist, lol. What is 2024.
  69. I know many animation movies that are for mature audiences. Hell and Back is definitely not for kids and then there's Mary and Max - I can't even watch these in public.
  70. YGOPRO - was trying to come up with a crazy deck that I could use in Master Duel when a certain set is released later this year. These new cards is going to make Dragon Link a Tier 1 deck again. It could even be Tier 0.
  71. Hey everyone! Have you ever come across gatekeeping in gaming communities? Whether it's dismissing newcomers, questioning someone's gamer credentials, or excluding certain groups, tell us some of your experiences. Let's discuss how gatekeeping affects our enjoyment of gaming and what we can do to create more inclusive spaces.
  72. Hey everyone! Have you ever donned a costume to become your favorite video game character? Share your cosplay adventures and let's dive into the realm where reality meets gaming fantasy! Which character did you choose? How did you create your costume? Any memorable moments from your cosplay experience?
  73. Which game, in your opinion, nails world-building like no other? Whether it's the lore, environment, or intricate details, what game immerses you the most into its world? Share your picks and why you think they stand out! Let's see if we can uncover some hidden gems or revisit classics.
  74. When life gets stressful, we all have that one game we turn to for some much-needed relaxation. Whether it's soothing music, beautiful scenery, or just simple gameplay, what's your go-to game for unwinding? Share your favorite titles and why they help you relax.
  75. If you had the chance to swap bodies with any sports celebrity in the world for a day, who would you pick and why? Would you want to experience their athleticism, their lifestyle, or maybe just see the world through their eyes?
  76. If you could snag a dinner with any sports celeb, past or present, who would you pick? Whether it's to talk strategy, hear epic stories, or just share a meal, I'm curious to know your top pick and why!
  77. Do you thrive on the intensity of solo sports like tennis or the camaraderie of team sports like soccer? Share your thoughts on whether you prefer the focus of solo competition or the dynamic energy of teamwork.
  78. If you had to choose between climbing Mount Everest or diving into the depths of the ocean, which adrenaline-pumping adventure would you go for? Are you more drawn to the towering heights and icy challenges of Everest, or does the mysterious allure of the deep sea call to you?
  79. I think Arsenal's main problem is quality squad depth. You can clearly see that most of their main players look really tired having to play nearly every game and they play a high-intensity brand of football so it takes a toll over the season. Arsenal's first team starters are quality but they don't have the quality in depth like Man City does. Pep can rotate his starting 11 and won't suffer a significant dropoff. Arsenal on the other hand, only has Trossard, Tomiyasu, Jorginho and a fit Thomas Partey to call upon. The rest are either mediocre or are consistently injured.
  80. Hey everyone! Just curious, would you ever consider going head-to-head with a bull in the ring? Some might see it as an adrenaline rush, while others might think it's too risky. Let's hear your thoughts! Would you do it for the thrill, or is it a hard pass?
  81. Scams are everywhere, and sometimes they catch us off guard. Have you ever fallen for one? Share your experiences here! Whether it's a phishing email, a too-good-to-be-true offer, or anything else, let's swap cautionary tales and help each other stay vigilant.
  82. We all have that one story, the one that's a hidden gem in our memory vaults, waiting for the perfect moment to shine. Whether it's hilarious, heartwarming, or downright bizarre, what's the tale you hardly ever get a chance to tell but absolutely love when you do?
  83. What's that one simple pleasure that never fails to put a smile on your face? Whether it's sipping on a hot cup of tea, feeling the warmth of sunlight on your skin, or listening to the sound of rain. Let us know which one it is and why.
  84. What's that one concept that leaves you scratching your head, no matter how many times you've tried to wrap your mind around it? From quantum mechanics to existential philosophy, share the enigma that keeps you up at night.
  85. Hey everyone! Imagine this: unlimited free meals for life at any fast food chain of your choice. Sounds like a dream, right? But here's the catch - you can only pick one chain. Which would you choose and why? Would it be the classic taste of McDonald's, the Tex-Mex goodness of Taco Bell, or perhaps the healthier options at Subway? Share your ultimate pick and let's discuss the reasons behind our choices!
  86. People are always on Twitter complaining about the most minute of things but I don't see why this is such a big deal. Granted, some people may have liked their original Avatar design and didn't want to change it but these things happen at times.
  87. I think the scent of my own would be enough to convince me it's time for a new phone. That lingering shit scent lasts for a good amount of time. I remembered when a friend once shat himself while being drunk and his favorite sneaker got some on it. He washed that shoes religiously every day for about 2 weeks and we could still smell it. He eventually had to throw it away and get a new pair.
  88. I also learned that some organisation is using its software to mine data from Discord and selling it to law enforcement and Ai companies. It's a good thing that I don't rely heavily on Discord or I'd probably have become a statistic.
  89. I used to burn mix CDs all the time. I used to give them to my friends all the time and I even had some special ones for certain occasions like a friend's birthday or playing it in the car while out on a date. Good times for sure!
  90. You have a wonderful wife that supports your gaming habits. I mean, my current gf is also supportive but some partners aren't.
  91. I know how you feel. Star Wars Battlefront 2 did that to me - I never preordered another game since.
  92. I've learned to not worry about the things I cannot control. Honestly I've been quite a angry person for a while, but the past few days I have felt more alive and less angry than I ever have. I did cut out Facebook of my daily routine a few weeks ago, and honestly I've felt much better now that I don't have to browse that toxic site! Perhaps that's the reason why I've been in a good mood lately lol.
  93. I thankfully never done this myself! Though if I did happen to drop it in the toilet after I flushed, I would try and use the rice treatment to get the water absorbed as much as possible. But if I dropped it like The Blackangel did, then too bad it's getting thrown away and I'll get a new one lol. I already do not like looking in the bowl after I take a shit, I don't know why it's just one of those things that weird me out so I just close the lid after taking a shit lol.
  94. For single player games, I have to say Laura Croft is my favorite single player video game character! She's awesome, and I loved the old school games. I never gave much attention to the reboot, I would like to give it a go at some point, but I know I'm not going to like it as much as I like the classics or the trilogy.
  95. Nope I don't watch any music channels anymore. I don't have cable or satellite, I do have Hulu but I am not even sure if the music channels are part of the package I have. I used to watch MTV and VH1 when I was growing up. I didn't have digital cable so I couldn't watch MTV 2, or Fuse. I never cared for rap music nor country growing up so I never watched BET or CMT.
  96. Most of the consoles I own are retro. I own all the Sega consoles aside from the Master System, so that means I have four Genesis, a Sega CD, two Game Gears, 32x, Saturn, and Dreamcast. For the retro Nintendo consoles I own, they are a toploader NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Color, and Gameboy Advance. I own a Xbox, I don't consider the 360 retro just yet. I own a PS one, and two PS2s. I still think the Genesis is the best retro console, Sonic is better than Mario IMO.
  97. I use my computer and TV more than my phone. I use my phone here and there to browse Reddit, and play Pokemon Go but not as often as I'm playing games on my consoles or watching Youtube on my TV.
  98. I didn't burn CDs that often because back in the day I didn't have a computer. I remember going over to a few of my friends houses who did have computers and watching them burn mix cds. I had a friend back in the day give me a burned copy of Green Day's American Idiot, and I remember listening to it off and on growing up. I even found a burned Yellowcard Ocean Avenue CD once in the field down the street from my house when I was a teenager. It barely played though since it was super scratched up. :V
  99. Nope I don't consider it a waste of time or money on games. To me it's a fun hobby and my favorite way to escape from the real world from time to time. I already accumulated lots of games from my childhood, and most of the games I get these days are from a retro game treasure subscription which I pay $40 monthly for. I think it's worth it though, especially if you like to collect and play retro games.
  100. Just recently the emulator Delta made it's way to the app store, which is very unusual to see a emulator get added to the app store. This is great for those who don't have a jailbroken iPhone and want to play their favorite classic Nintendo games on the go. You can also airplay your phone to a smart tv and play old school games that way too if you want! I went ahead and downloaded the app the other day, I'm not sure if it's still listed on the app store or not. If you're into emulation and have a iPhone that you don't want to jail break to play old Nintendo games, you should download this app!
  101. Enigma is master class music. It's been a while since I listened to New Age music. It always had a more special place in my heart. And it's not just a solo thing. We used to camp out with friends back in the day, and it seemed natural for everyone to love Enigma, laying in the grass, looking up at the stars, little boombox cd player. I still have cd's from 30 years ago. Men today are cowards to listen to new age; they are insecure of their masculinity. But we all know it's natural to love Enigma, to love new age. Humans didn't start out playing hard rock. We used raw instruments to make sounds that pleased us. We built drums, then other instruments. We put our souls to sound. And when we developed technology, we integrated those sounds with technology, New Age music. Anyone who doesn't like it is a farce. It's natural like love for bacon. It's pancakes with syrup with a glass of berry juice. It's fajitas. It's beef and broccoli, it's angel hair pasta, brisket, pizza, a pool of watermelon. 😀
  102. The week had two English football giants, Manchester City and Arsenal, being knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, respectively. While Manchester City can hold their heads high for a good display, Arsenal fc had the game in their hands and lost it. Do you think the Arsenal players need to draw strength from somewhere or what exactly?
  103. Cheek slapping or whatever they call it is not a sport to me. That is so risky that one can get serious injuries from that kind of sports. So, it is really unbelievable to see such games having fans.
  104. I will go with the volcano surfer. I am built in a way that I can feel more comfortable with heat than the ice and going to the ice is more like asking for a death sentence. It is never going to work well at the end of the day.
  105. They never won it, and I don't see them doing so in the near future. Liverpool is having issues with attacking, and that has really made the team not compete when it really matters most. I hope I get proved wrong in the coming season since Klopp is finally leaving.
  106. I would want to have a photo of Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United. He is one player that I have followed closely, and how he plays has been impressive, to say the least.
  107. Perfectly said. They network in a way that they make changes that will bring more revenues to them. They worry less about what players want as long as they are making money from it.
  108. I don't consider myself wasting too much resources or time. To be honest with you, playing games was always fun when I looked at how good it is in terms of being happy. I go to work daily and never focus all my energies on playing games.
  109. Cyberpunk 2077 was a huge disappointment. I remembered Charles, my work colleague, who preordered that game still regretting tull today. I mean, that game made me never to trust preordering games again.
  110. Yes! That's it. I want to work my brains to play the games that I play. I need to go watch some videos on YouTube as well to be able to play those games and that is the fun that I get from playing games such as Final Fantasy and Fire Emblem.
  111. I got God of Wars because of the gaming storyline. I just wanted to play through the storyline to experience some of the scenes there. So, that's one game that made me make the move.
  112. Well, you made a point. It is all about what someone prefers and not basically about having more controllers or not. The focus should be all about one enjoying the game that they play.
  113. Avatar for sure. It was like 20 years ago it seems when I went to the Imax in 3d to watch Avatar. And a second movie finally came out. I have been excited for Avatar and it's everything I ever wanted in a game. I am seduced. The game has an excellent story and excellent characters, excellent scenery. The game is everything I ever wanted.
  114. Weird, it was just a few days ago I was talking about N. Night Shyamalan about M. Night Shamalan. More specifically, how he is one of if the worst director ever. Still, I'm not going to miss a chance to dump on that cinematic cancer, so let's watch the trailer and bring out the Shyamalan checklist: Actors staring blankly into the camera? Check Hokey acting? Check The adult acting like a child? Check The child acting like an adult? Check An open ended, innocuous plot set up that tricks idiots into thinking it's inevitable, hard-to-guess twist is smart when it's actually just plain cheap? Check (Well, almost certainly. The father will NOT be "The Butcher", I'm calling it now.) Pointless tracking shots? Check The crazy, superstitious weirdo that for some reason is the one that's actually right? Probably, yes Plastering Shyamalan's name all over like that's a selling point and he was not the man behind Devil, After Earth, The Happening and that god awful The Last Airbender live action movie? Check Yep, this is a Shyamalan movie. It will be shit.
  115. Last week my friend and I went to Big Lots and I noticed they had a Sonic the Hedgehog themed keyboard, headset, and mouse. I bought the last one, and I've been using the mouse and keyboard for the past week! Unfortunately the headset only plays audio in the left speaker, which is a shame since the microphone actually doesn't sound bad at all! I have a nice microphone however, so I don't really need to use the headset. The keyboard works great, and the keys feel great. It's a mechanical keyboard that has RGB so I can type in the dark. The mouse feels great and also has RGB. I think this set is no longer being sold online, it originally went for $40 but I got it for $20. Anyways do you own any computer peripherals based on a gaming franchise?
  116. I have a few imported games myself! I bought Rockman 8 for the Sega Saturn from a Japanese seller on Ebay. It's much cheaper to get Japanese Saturn imports since the US games are so expensive. I also have a subscription to Retro Game Treasure and I get a import in every single box. I've got a few different Super Famicom games now like Super Donkey Kong 2 (Donkey Kong Country 2), Puyo-Puyo and a few Dragon Quest games too. I also have a few different GBA/GB games that are Japanese which is great since they're not region locked. (I have a action replay to play imports on my Saturn, and a cartridge converter to play Super Famicom games. I still need to mod my PS2 to play Japanese games, likewise with my Gamecube...)
  117. Have you ever done any urban exploration before? For those not aware of what urban exploration is, it's the act of exploring abandoned locations. It could be buildings, bridges, trails, roads anything that's abandoned really! I've tried doing this back in 2016, but my wife and I couldn't find our way into the building that I wanted to explore. Plus we decided to try and check out the other building behind it but we heard music playing, and while she was taking pictures of the scenery we noticed a guy watching us from one of the broken out windows. I heard a train whistle and we weren't too far from the tracks so I wanted to wait around and watch the train go by but it must have been on another track since it never passed us. Then I heard the music again, and noticed the same guy come walking around the corner with another guy and a woman. They all three had back packs, and one of them had a boom box. I think they were just train hoppers or homeless people, since they didn't say a word when they walked past us. I've been wanting to try and find other places to try and explore, but we don't have many places around here. This was all in East St. Louis and that's a sketchy area, so I don't really want to go back there. :V
  118. I want forums to be the primary place people hang out online again. Discord really isn't a great place to get information and gather, because you still have to rely on outside websites like Google Docs to keep things organized. Plus it's difficult to locate old posts, at least now you can actually search for keywords in direct messages. Also I want frosted tips to come back in style too, I was never allowed to have them growing up as a kid lol.
  119. Mine is my complete in box copy of Knuckles Chaotix. My wife got me it for my birthday way back in 2010, long before the price of the game went up. She got it for $40 on Amazon of all places. According to price charting, the game goes for $254 complete. As a die hard Sonic fan, I will never sell this especially since Sega has yet to re-release the game on any other platform. (It was released on Gametap in 2007 but that's the only other time it's been re-released on any official platform.)
  120. Earlier
  121. Hey everyone! I'm curious to hear about the most expensive game purchase you've ever made. Whether it was a rare collector's edition, an extravagant limited release, or just a splurge on a special edition, share your story! How much did you spend, and was it worth it?
  122. I'm curious: when you play multiplayer games, which game mode gets your heart racing and your thumbs twitching? Are you all about the adrenaline rush of Team Deathmatch? Do you thrive in the strategic depths of Capture the Flag? Or maybe you prefer the chaotic fun of Battle Royale? Share your favorite game mode and why it keeps you coming back for more.
  123. Which movie or TV show would make an epic video game? Share your thoughts on the storyline, gameplay mechanics, and potential for immersive worlds. Whether it's a thrilling action flick, a gripping drama, or a fantastical adventure series, let's discuss which one deserves the gaming treatment.
  124. Hey everyone, curious mind here. How many of you have been so captivated by a game's storyline that you just had to buy it? Whether it's the depth of characters, intricate plot twists, or emotional rollercoasters, tell us about those games that you couldn't resist diving into for the story alone.
  125. Let's take a stroll down memory lane. What's the most absurd fib you fell for as a kid? From tooth fairies to mysterious creatures, spill the beans on the wildest lies you believed.
  126. If you could conjure up a brand new holiday, what would it be all about? Would it celebrate kindness, creativity, or something entirely wild? Let's brainstorm and dream up some festivities that could make the world a little brighter.
  127. Hey everyone! Let's indulge in some nostalgic wishful thinking. Which trend from the past do you desperately want to see make a comeback? Whether it's bell-bottom jeans, vinyl records, or something entirely unique, let's reminisce and dream about bringing back the good old days. So, what's your retro revival wish?
  128. We've all been there, rushing in with some wild excuse for being late. But what's the most unbelievable-yet-true reason you've ever had? Whether it's a cosmic event, an unexpected encounter, or a bizarre mishap, let's hear it.
  129. When life throws curveballs, whose advice do you turn to? Family? Friends? Mentors? Share your thoughts on whose guidance resonates most with you and why.
  130. Share the event that rocked your world and reshaped your outlook on life. Whether it's a personal epiphany, a brush with danger, or a profound encounter, we want to hear about it.
  131. Hey everyone! Who remembers the good old days of burning CDs? Whether it was making mixtapes for friends, backing up your favorite albums, or just trying out new software, burning CDs was a whole experience. Share your memories: What was your favorite CD to burn? Any funny stories or mishaps?
  132. When you're jamming out to your favorite tunes, do you ever find yourself curious about the lyrics? Where's your go-to spot for checking them out? Do you prefer official lyric websites, or maybe you rely on apps?
  133. What tunes melt away your stress like butter on a hot pan? Whether it's classical compositions, lo-fi beats, or the gentle strumming of acoustic guitars, I want to know the soundtrack to your relaxation. Share your go-to songs or playlists that transport you to a state of tranquility.
  134. I'm picking that as well. Volcano surfing sounds like a disaster waiting to happen although an avalanche can also occur during ice climbing but you have a better chance of surviving that. Imagine volcano surfing and then the volcano suddenly decides to get active lol.
  135. My happy place is a trail near my yard which leads up into some hills overlooking the ocean. It's nothing but vegetation and that stunning view. Very relaxing.
  136. FFXVI - I haven't played this game in a year and a half. I thought it was subpar the first time I played it but it's actually decent.
  137. What are your favorite songs to get pumped up and motivated during exercise sessions? Whether it's high-energy beats or inspiring lyrics, share your top tracks below.
  138. Fast Five (2011) - 8/10
  139. I hope we get remasters of The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and The Angel of Darkness. (Especially that last one because the game really isn't that great to begin with and I think a remaster can redeem it.) Since the first three games got the remaster treatment, it's only fair these three get it as well. As for the trilogy, I think they're fine and though the games are almost 20 years old now they still hold up and look good IMO so they don't really need remasters IMO. Plus you can play them on your Series X/S since they're backwards compatible. (Or at least I know Anniversary is, that's how I played the game. I own the trilogy on PS3 though too.)
  140. When I was a teenager, my best friend and I went around and kicked over lights that some people had around their sidewalks late at night. The next day, there was a couple who drove around my neighborhood and happened to see me outside riding my bike and asked me if I knew who knocked their lights over. I said "No" and they thanked me and told me if I seen anything out of the ordinary to let them know. Needless to say we never got caught lol.
  141. The trailer for a new upcoming movie from the brilliant M. Night Shaymalan dropped earlier today. I watched it with my wife earlier and man I can't wait for it! There's a few of his movies I didn't care for, but the majority of them are awesome. Here's the trailer if you haven't watched it yet, below are my thoughts on it as well. I was not expecting the father to be the butcher mentioned by the shirt salesman. Makes me wonder what other twists are going to be in the film. Will his daughter make it out alive? Will he get caught? I just can't wait to see this!
  142. For those not aware, Niantic recently updated the avatar customizations in Pokemon Go yesterday. Many fans have been complaining about the changes over on Twitter lately, and many people are begging Niatic to bring back the old avatar system. As someone who plays Pokemon Go the new avatar customizations don't bother me too much, in fact I think it's cool that it represents different body types now rather than just one body type for male/female avatars. In fact, the avatars are more gender neutral in a way, and I think that's why so many people are upset over it. Other reasons though are the models themselves looking a bit janky and not as polished as they used to be.
  143. WRC 10. I've been trying the online challenges these past few weeks and I'm almost always in the top 20 at the end of the day.
  144. I have a happy place I built out into a field where I keep rabbits. I go out there and let them loose to graze. It's amazing watching them run free and hop with a twist in the air.
  145. Avatar Ikran flying over the land. Fuck yeah. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. A new level of mounts, where you actually have a connection.
  146. Avatar, the most beautiful game I've ever seen. It needs Game of the Decade award
  147. The way I see it, the cold suppresses the arteries and blood flow, which suppresses adrenaline. Being around a volcano, your veins are dilated, arteries dilated and pumping, adrenaline in full force. I will go with volcano surfing.
  148. After considering a few things, I would go for the ice climbing. My body is intolerant of heat and if the temp gets much above 65° to 70° I pass out. It's not until I can get taken somewhere that is colder than I come back around. So while volcano surfing sounds like a blast, I would just prefer being conscious while having that kind of thrill.
  149. If animation was for kids only, I would like to meet the parent that is comfortable with their 5 year old watching Drawn Together.
  150. Mine was definitely when I made it to Uru Mais in Legend of Legaia. There's a part when the three main characters fall asleep and you get a glimpse into their past. Vahn, the main character dreams about the time when he was 4 years old and his mother was sick. He overhears the Village Elder that his mom can recover if someone is able to get medicine from Drake Castle, but no one could leave the village because of the mist. Vahn tries to leave Rim Elm to get the medicine, but his father realizes what happened and goes after Vahn. His mom passed away and his dad was fine but was injured. That caught me off guard when I first played the game, and it made me cry. I was 12 years old when I first beat the game.
  151. It's similar to Mega Man, it's a fast paced action platformer. Keiji Inafune, the guy who created Mega Man worked on it. It wasn't as good as it could have been, so now I'm weary about backing Kickstarter projects. You can read more about it on the wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mighty_No._9
  152. Spec Ops: The Line when Walker hit those people with the White Phosphorus and you saw all those innocent people and kids burnt alive with nothing but their flesh showing. I don't think any scene in a video game quite moved me like that one.
  153. What kind of game was Mighty No.9? I've never heard of this game before.
  154. That's so true. I remember those NHL games in the late 90's and it did feel like the skaters you controlled were slower for some reason.
  155. I'm bracing myself for disappointment but hoping for the best because outside of Capcom and maybe Square Enix, most of the other remakes I've seen from major companies have all flopped massively.
  156. You don't. Everyone has different preferences when it comes to gaming. Some like a particular console/platform while others love playing on multiple platforms. At the moment, I don't think I have more than 10 controllers. Others here have various consoles from previous eras so they'd have more controllers than you or I.
  157. My phone. Never know when you might need it!
  158. Jumanji: The Next Level I'll give it a solid 8/10.
  159. Panic Room (2002) - 9/10
  160. Probably the best fight of the series so far.
  161. Just touched Monster Hunter World for the first time in over a year and I'm surprised that the game is still relatively active. We had a Three-way battle with us trying to hunt a Anjanath but in the middle of it got jumped by a group of other monsters who were trying to take out the both of us. We decided to help the Anjanath as it was easier to fight one big enemy where we could dodge most of his attacks while these smaller agile enemies were making it far harder to coordinate any team attacks.
  162. If you had to pick between two adrenaline-packed adventures, would you rather be a volcano surfer or an ice climber? Volcano surfing promises fiery rushes and molten excitement, while ice climbing offers the chill of frosty challenges. Which thrill calls to your adventurous soul?
  163. Hey VGR, what's your take on celebrity endorsements in video games? Are they a cool addition, or just a gimmick? Let's discuss the impact they have on gameplay, immersion, and the gaming industry.
  164. What's your all-time favorite video game vehicle or mount? Whether it's cruising through GTA's streets, soaring on Skyrim's dragons, or rallying in Mario Kart, share your top pick and why it's got a special place in your gaming heart.
  165. Let's talk about motion controls! What's your take on them? Are they a game-changer enhancing immersion, or do they make you want to throw your controller?
  166. Hey everyone! Let's talk about our favorite video game villains. Who stands out to you and why? Whether it's their backstory, motivations, or just sheer charisma, share what makes them compelling! Looking forward to hearing your picks and discussing what makes these characters so memorable.
  167. Have you ever rage quit a game and if so, what was the game and what caused you to quit? Whether it was a frustrating boss battle, a glitchy level, or just sheer incompetence, we want to hear your tales of gaming-induced fury. Did you damage anything in the process?
  168. Hey everyone! Let's get a peek at your personalized PS5s! Whether it's a sleek matte finish or decked out in wild decals, share your setups below. From minimalist designs to full-on gaming themes, we want to see it all. Don't forget to tell us where you got your decals from and why you chose them!
  169. Hey VGR! I recently got my hands on a PS5 and was wondering about your experiences using the Dualshock 4 with it. Have you tried it yet? How does it feel compared to the new DualSense controller? Any compatibility issues or standout features? My cousin was offering me a Dualshock 4 controller to use with it but I wasn't sure if the experience would be subpar. I mean, I guess some of the features would be absent since the new PS5 controller has several more features.
  170. What features have you stumbled upon that aren't widely talked about but have made your gaming or overall PS5 experience even better? Whether it's a lesser-known setting, a handy shortcut, or a neat trick, let's uncover those hidden delights together. For me, it's the PS5 Activities UI option that lets you access a certain part of a game right from the main menu without waiting on the game to boot up.
  171. Hey everyone! I'm considering upgrading my PS5's SSD myself to boost storage and performance. Have any of you attempted this? If so, how was your experience? Any tips or recommendations? Most of the videos I've seen so far hasn't fully covered the warranty issue. It took me forever just to get one and I don't want to wreck it.
  172. Hey everyone! Now that some of us have had some time with the PS5, I'm curious: what accessories have you found to be essential for enhancing your gaming experience? Whether it's controllers, headsets, charging docks, or something entirely different, share your favorites and why you love them!
  173. When I started playing Elden Ring, it reminded me so much of the original Dark Souls game. I mean, Yes, it is from the same developers but some of the bosses reminded me of villains from the original game.
  174. I'm not sure - the combat is a bit "meh" in my opinion but I'd like to know more about the story. Because the whole experience seems quite mediocre to me. I haven't seen anything that makes this game truly stand out.
  175. This would be insane to play in VR. It seem to have the fluidity of Mirror's Edge mixed flawlessly with the attacking mechanics. I like it!
  176. Hey Everyone - How was everyone's weekend?
  177. Yeah - It's pretty complicated. Just to make a simple game using code takes days of work and that's for someone who's knowledgeable enough to do it.
  178. That sounds like an amazing experience. I always wanted to go to E3 but I'll never get that chance as it has been cancelled indefinitely.
  179. I hope they make Death Stranding 2's story less complicated and I agree that Stellar Blade looks promising. The gameplay trailer two weeks again was pretty good.
  180. I love Monster Hunter as well. I actually played some Monster Hunter: World today. It's the first time in over a year - I remember playing Monster Hunter with my friends on the PS Vita. Good times.
  181. I used to play Tiny Bird Garden at one point and I might revisit in the future but I'm not really into these kinds of games otherwise. Aqua Pet was recommended to me once upon a time but I didn't like it that much.
  182. Mine would be around that price as well. I get 10GB of data and unlimited texts and calls to others using the same network. That sounds like a pretty good deal for the both of you.
  183. Not anymore - I used to watch BET, MTV and VH1 for music videos but I haven't watched them in years.
  184. Even though this fight isn't canon, I still liked watching it
  185. Disturbia (2007) - 8/10
  186. Same - I watch quite a bit of anime and I'm an adult in my 30s. I've been watching them since I was a kid and don't intend to stop.
  187. I played some Content Warning with friends and we went viral because one of my friends was being tossed around by a Behemoth. This had to be some of the most hilarious moments we've had playing a game together.
  188. Imagine wielding Wonder Woman's iconic lasso of truth. Who would be your first target? A politician, a celebrity, a friend, or maybe even yourself? Share your thoughts on whose secrets you'd unravel first and why. I'll start: I know I'd definitely target a politician - they have a lot of things to hide so I'd like to know what dirty secrets they're hiding.
  189. Hey VGR family, imagine you're a conman with the uncanny ability to infiltrate any profession seamlessly. Which job would you choose to pretend being an expert at? Would you charm your way into the corporate world, dazzle as a renowned surgeon, or perhaps blend in as a top-tier scientist? Let your imagination run wild! Share your cunning career choice and why it would be the perfect cover.
  190. What's the most absurd outfit you've ever dared to wear in public? Whether it was a result of a lost bet, a crazy dare, or just a questionable fashion choice, Share it with us. Can't wait to laugh along with your stories.
  191. What's the sneakiest thing you ever pulled off as a kid? From secret snack stashes to covert missions past curfew, let's hear about it.
  192. What's the weirdest coincidence you've experienced firsthand? Whether it's a chance encounter, an uncanny parallel, or a freakishly timed event, we want to hear about it. I feel like this is going to be a juicy one.
  193. If you had the power to un-invent one thing from existence, what would it be? Whether it's a pesky invention causing more harm than good or just something that annoys you on a daily basis, we're curious to hear your thoughts.
  194. What's the nicest thing you've done for someone without them knowing? Whether it's a small gesture or a grand act of kindness, spill the beans.
  195. Hey everyone! Let's dive into the realm of the irrational. What's the weirdest superstition you hold onto? Whether it's avoiding cracks on the pavement or knocking on wood for luck, share your quirkiest beliefs. Let's see if anyone else shares in the superstition or if you're the lone wolf in your irrationality!
  196. We all have that one special spot where everything just feels right. Whether it's a cozy nook at home, a serene natural setting, or even a favorite café, we'd love to hear about your happy place! Share your location and why it means so much to you.
  197. Wait? What?! What bet did you lose? That sounds painful. Did any of them catch you?
  198. I can imagine - I wouldn't remove it either. I'd just get another phone. It's not worth smelling like shit for who knows how long. I remembered when I was in high school some kid dropped in a pile of shit some bushes and he had that scent on him for days.
  199. My favorite quote is "Push through the pain. Giving up hurts more." - Vegeta.
  200. Are you from India? I have a friend who told me about the Smog in Delhi.
  201. I find that inhaling and exhaling slowly works for me best and is the most reliable. Water works at times but it's so consistent.
  202. It's true but you do have to work smarter as well and manage your time properly. Otherwise, you exhaust yourself.
  203. Yeah - it does look like it has some potential. Also, I love play Golf with Friends with my gaming partners. It creates lots of hilarious moments.
  204. My Pixel 8 Pro, keys, wallet, and usually my Pixel Buds just in case I want to listen to music.
  205. Hanging out with family on Saturdays every week. On Sundays, I usually chill at home playing games and chatting on Guilded (and sometimes Discord) and whatnot.
  206. Single-player story games, if the story is well written. Otherwise, I prefer co-op games like Monster Hunter, etc. I'm an extremely chill and laid-back gamer. I don't play PVP too much. There's only 1 game I play that is PVP currently, and that's Gigantic (I have a thread on it here with the trailer and whatnot).
  207. I wouldn't consider myself an expert or master at it, but I'm pretty good at the Monster Hunter franchise. With Lance, I almost never die. Though, it does have basically the best blocking out of all weapons currently.
  208. I'm on a shared plan with 1 other person. We split 12gb of data between us, and I think for each of us its in the 30/mo range. Unlimited talk and text, but 12gb data. It's enough 99% of the time, since I download music and movies onto my phone at home to watch on the go.
  209. The Pixel series (and Nexus previously) is technically the "Apple" version of the Android world. Google manages the OS, and they make the phones. So in a sense, I guess you can compare them to the iPhone. Which of these two phones do you prefer? Me? I prefer Pixel, since I've been using Android since 2.3 (December 2010), so I have hundreds of dollars of paid apps I'd rather not lose access too! I don't mind using an iPhone temporarily from a friend, but I wouldn't want it to be my daily driver due to losing lots of paid apps.
  210. I would have to say for single-player games, my favorite character would be Aloy, from Horizon Zero Dawn. Because Horizon Zero Dawn & Forbidden West have dinosaurs, it is of course among my favorite game franchises. I can't wait for the third game to eventually come out!
  211. This is the revival of a MOBA/Hero Shooter combined PVP game. What are your thoughts on it? Original was F2P, but they didn't make enough funding, so they had to shut down. This revival is a $20 one-time fee with no microtransactions. Original game had 23 characters, they finished up 2 that were almost done and there is now 25 in the revival, along with 2 new maps. My favorite characters are Roland (one of the new ones) and Margrave for the tank role. I haven't picked a support, since usually selecting those two is enough for me to get into matches.
  212. Mobile phones can be quite expensive now and being able to have the latest phone that you choose is not always easy for many. In a situation where money is not an issue and you had the chance to purchase a phone of your choice, what phone would you choose and what would be the reason for that choice?
  213. Something I have not watched in years until I found out we have a few music channels offered to us when I was flicking through the channels today was music channels. When I was younger, I used to spend so much time listening to music through music channels and having them play in the background whilst I was busy. Do you still watch music channels?
  214. House Flipper is a game I picked up and played so much of a few years ago. I found out that House Flipper 2 was being released and was excited for the release. House Flipper 2 released earlier this week and even though I have not been able to pick it up just yet, I am hoping to pick it up very soon. Have you played House Flipper 2?
  215. I don't need too much when it comes to data, calls and texts. At the moment I am paying £6 a month for what I have and for that I get 6GB of data, unlimited calls and unlimited texts. Usually it is only 4GB for the price I pay but I am on a special offer and get 2GB free.
  216. As much as I do think this is cool, I also have my worries about neuralink. It is a worry that they could one day force this on normal people who do not have disabilities and also what they could use it for on normal people or even on the disabled who have this. They are not being honest with us at all and that is very much a worry.
  217. I can't say I ever played this game and it is the first time I am hearing about it. After seeing the video above for it thought it looks a lot of fun and something I would for sure play when I have the chance. Golf with Friends is a ton of fun. I have not played it in a while but given the chance and having some time, it is a game I could spend hours on playing with friends.
  218. My favourite video game genre at the moment would have to be either battle royale, strategy and role playing games. I have been playing a lot of Fortnite and Farmville recently and love to play games of the same type when I get the chance.
  219. The last game I played and the game I am still playing at the moment in the background whilst I work is Farmville 3. I had debated on trying this game out and I am thankful I did as it's a lot of fun.
  220. "Never Give Up!" - John Cena Being a fan of John Cena since childhood, I've got this nailed pretty well in my brain. These 3 words, define who I am when it comes to hardships in life.
  221. The best way for me to waste time is to watch reels on Instagram or watch shorts on YouTube. Sometimes my screen time increases so much only because of this lol.
  222. The only old-person habit I have adopted is working hard. I know it and it is really a fact that hard work pays off. These days people are scared of working hard and try to find shortcuts to make a living but that doesn't work.
  223. My go-to hiccup cure is to drink lot of water. If it doesn't work, I take a heavy breath-in, hold for 10 seconds and then slowly release. Repeat it 5-10 times. And then it works.
  224. I've seen a lot of stand-up comedy routines on YouTube. I have a lot of favorites, mostly Indians. There's this guy named Akash Gupta - His routines are just amazing!
  225. There's this dream of brushing my teeth and then while spitting it, I see all my teeth coming out of my mouth and getting drained in the sink is one of the scariest recurring dreams I get from time to time.
  226. Right now, I'm at a place where I want to remain forever. I'm staying with the love of my life, sharing our lives with each other, may it be good or bad, we are doing it and supporting each other.
  227. If I were guaranteed to one question, I would like to know what the world exactly be like after 50 years from now. That would be a really amazing thing to know for me.
  228. I shed tears very easily. Not like flowing like a river but like eyes getting wet slightly. This happens whenever I encounter something that touches my heart. It might be good/bad.
  229. I think about 10-20 times a day I look in the mirror. Usually I need to see myself about 2-3 times a day so during each of those times, I see about 5-7 times. Like while putting some cream on my face, brushing my hair, lip balm etc.
  230. Doing chores or anything I can to help the love of my life is the one for me. 🙂 My sole purpose is to keep her happy all the time.
  231. During weekends, I usually love to eat good meals, munch on snacks while watching my favorite movies/series, play games and chill throughout the day.
  232. I feel the most stressed when I work for over 12 hours and still there's a lot of pending work that has to be done by next morning. These happen very rarely during sudden surprises.
  233. My favorite subjects in school were Computer Science and Biology. I used to do great in them as I had interest in topics related to these since childhood. I used to hate Civics and History.
  234. I never leave home without my wallet having some cash, my ID cards, credit/debit cards, keys, handkerchief and a face mask to protect myself from pollution.
  235. It really depends on my mood. During weekends, a perfect day would be to wake up after a good sleep, have some tasty and healthy breakfast, watch my favorite movies/series, have delicious lunch, and watch something again, Then in the evening, having a cup of ginger tea, going on an evening walk, coming back and doing something productive for 2 hours, having dinner or going out to eat, come back and sleep.
  236. If I could ask one question to my future self, I would ask him if he is still happy in life. 🙂 For me that's the most important aspect of life.
  237. The biggest risk I have ever taken was when I had went on trekking without informing my parents during my childhood. They would have scolded me a lot if they had got to know about it as they were over-protective of me.
  238. If I had to live as an animal for a year, I would choose to be a pet dog of a rich family who will take me to lavish destinations all around the world.
  239. As soon as I wake up, the first thing I want to see is the love of my life. Without seeing her face, I can't imagine starting my day.
  240. For us - Hindus, it's temple but I don't go to one regularly as I'm not much religious. I go to temples on special occasions or festivals only.
  241. I don't really celebrate my birthday until and unless my family or friends make me do it. I myself don't get the urge to do so.
  242. I am someone who takes life and its events very positively. Everything happens for a cause. If something goes bad, it will eventually bring something much better than that if one remains patient.
  243. If I had the power to erase one word from the dictionary, I would remove the word 'dictionary' as the person should know what it is as he or she is using it.
  244. The dumbest dare I had ever taken was when I had to do pole-dance in the middle of a busy road during college days. I think that was also the last dare I had ever taken lol.
  245. Couldn't agree more. What a director is supposed to is immerse the audience in the story being told in a movie or TV show. Work in service to that story, but Shyamalan has no interest in that. In the process of making a movie or TV show, nothing is accidental. Directors employ actors wearing specific costumes to play specific characters with specific actions, reactions and traits with specific dialogue spoken with a specific delivery in a specific setting with specific lighting while filming with specific shots at a specific range with a specific perspective and a specific focus and with specific editing and filters with specific sound, music and ambiance. Everything, and I do mean everything, is deliberate. They do this direct (Yes, they call them directors for a reason) the attention of the audience to whare it needs to be to create the right emotional investment from said audience. It sounds ridiculous, but when a director does thier job well, you forget that there is a director. You forget are you are even watching a movie or TV show at all. This might not inflate many people ego's, but when you enjoy a movie, it has tricked you, but that's OK. It's a good thing. I've always despised M. Night Shamalan's movies because he does the opposite. With those same tools of casting, costuming, editing, shot options, lighting, set designs, actor direction and script writing he is constantly trying to remind the audience that they are not only watching a movie, but more importantly, watching his movie. That's what's important to him. It doesn't matter if a scene was awkward, slow, didn't convince anyone of the emotional state of a character, was unrealistic or made any kind of logical sense. If he believes it will remind the audience who directed the movie, that will be fine. Why else would he so often write in small roles for himself in his films? Because the fucker can't help himself, that's why! He has to be the centre of attention. He like a pompous, arrogant artist who won't let anyone admire his work unless they ask why he used that one brush stroke somewhere of the canvas. If you need to explain what kind of a reaction a scene is meant to provoke, that mean the scene didn't work. If you asked him him why he had a guy with one muscular arm stare blankly right into the cameras for several minutes and talk about why he only works out that one arm, he's probably spend all night giving a synopsis about it (I'm not kidding, that actually happens in Lady in the Water).
  246. And I'm done eating for the next couple of days.
  247. Either way, here's hoping the answer is a flat out NO. The Switch is not an appropriate platform for AAA titles. It simply takes away so much from the game due to it's size. Sure you can port it to play on a TV, but that still doesn't do them justice. Keep AAA games on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
  248. The worst I've seen was Hayden Christiansen as Anakin Skywalker. He destroyed the role and just made me sick. M. Night Shymalan is the worst director in cinema history. It doesn't matter who the actors are, his movies are career enders. The only movie he ever did that was even half decent was The Sixth Sense. Everything else is in the toilet with Adolf trump's integrity.
  249. This is like saying gaming is just for kids. It's not for everyone, but it is for someone. A lot of adults watch cartoons. And I don't mean only things like Family Guy or South Park. I still watch Popeye, Felix the Cat, He-Man, TMNT, Looney Tunes, and tons of others that I grew up on.
  250. Thankfully it was a tracfone. I just left it and bought a new one because it was sticking out of a fresh pile of shit that I hadn't flushed yet.
  251. Then any word of that retarded fucking valley girl slang. I can't fucking stand it. Until someone spreads you on a piece of toast, you're not fucking jelly. You're jealous. And that's just the beginning of it.
  252. I've learned not to worry about the things I can't control. Instead, I deal with what I can control - I'm hella calm nowadays no matter what's happening.
  253. Yeah - it's the Vodka I'm talking. I used to chase it with all kinds of other drinks like grape soda.
  254. Well, I don't normally want to celebrate my birthday but friends and family always planning surprise parties for me. Happy Birthday when it comes man. Well, try something new - have you ever used a jet-ski?
  255. Damn! I wouldn't have gone through with that one. Mine are like throwing water balloons through someone's open window and other relatively harmless crap.
  256. Typically, no I don't celebrate my birthday. It's nothing but a reminder that I'm one more year closer to death. But if you celebrate yours, take the day off and delve into something that you truly enjoy.
  257. Sharknado. It's atrocious, but in an endearing way. I've only seen the first one, though... I was never tempted to see any of the sequels 😛 .

  259. Before I get started: This review will be spoiler free, but I will open the discussion below to spoilers, you have been warned. @The Blackangel I can't say for sure, but I think is is possible that some of the images in this show, trailer and contained in this review might be triggering for you. I'd have somebody take a look at the media in this post before you read just to be sure. A television series published by Amazon based of the Fallout series on video games released April 11nth viewable on Amazon Prime Video. Me and my better half binged the series yesterday and I decided to share my thoughts. See the trailer below. I've been a fan of the games since Fallout 3 and whilst games vary in strength from a storytelling perspective, it was always going to be a challenge to tell a story in this universe from the more uninvolved perspective one has merely watching said story as apposed to role playing it. A very different challenge as, say, the Last of US TV series on HBO because even though one controlled Joel in the The Last of Us video game, the story was was still told from an observers perspective. Adapting a video game whare the player has full control over what a character says, whare they go and what they do right down to the base morals was never going to be easy. Maybe impossible to do in a way that pleases everyone. However, I've got to give Amazon, MGM Studios and Kitler films thier props because I think they absolutely nailed it! First, the story. Shades of Fallout 3 with the naïve, but courageous Lucy Maclain (Ella Purnell) as she leaves the sanctuary of a nuclear survivor's shelter called Vault 33 to search for her father, the Vault's overseer, kidnapped by a mysterious raider named Moldaver (Sarita Cloudhury). Meanwhile, a defected Enclave Scientist is pursued by a pre-war actor named Cooper Howard turned bounty hunter now known as "The Ghoul" (Walton Goggins) and an opportunistic Brotherhood of Steel Squire named Maximus (Aaron Moten). This is a complex, yet deeply compelling story with a great drive, great energy, great pacing with lots of unexpected twists and turns. As the viewer, you are always kept guessing as the full story behind not just the motivations of our characters, but the origins of the great war itself unravel. The show pulled no punches with the violence and with a surprising amount of superb comedy thrown in for free along with all the drama. I absolutely loved it. The aesthetics are absolutely nailed. This looks exactly as fans of the show would hope with authentic looking costumes and sets. The pre-war and Vault settings in particular I liked, especially the pre-war cars, many of which actually appeared to be fully functional, a nice touch. What creative liberties were taken, they were smart about. Nothing felt out of place. The effects, both practical and CGI were also really good. However, one thing I wasn't so sure about was Walton Goggins make up as "The Ghoul". Compared to the other ghouls in the series and, indeed, the games, he skin looked a little to "complete" in the sense that it didn't really look like it was hanging off like it should with a very monotone look to the colour. He looked less like a ghoul and more like a burn victim with a spray-on tan. Here's a side-by-side of Walton Goggins as "The Ghoul" and a Ghoul from Fallout 3 and I just think that the Ghoul from Fallout 3 looks better with a varied colour pallet and more varied textures going on. The characters themselves are well fleshed out and very well performed by all the cast, no complaints here. Whether you agree with thier motivations and goals or not, you are always given a chance to relate to them and understand them. The show never gets bogged down with exposition, we learn about these characters through the story in a vey easy to digest yet exiting way. This doesn't mean I like all the characters though, more specifically Maximus. The guy was traitorous, selfish, stupid and incompetent. That would have bene fine if it weren't for two serious issues: I didn't feel like this character really learned or grew much at all through the story. He was pretty much the same self-centred glory hound at the end that was at the start. The show tried a little too hard to make one empathise with him, even when he was at his worst, and that was annoying. Still, Maximus aside, these characters really grew on me. I loved Lucy for her sincere compassion as well as her courage and admire the way she refused to let this harsh, merciless world re-shape her principles. A clever contrast to The Ghoul/Cooper who left me wanting more of the heart that has clearly been buried and hardened by decades of life in this world and the tragedies' in his life. And even without that, he would still be ruthlessly fucking cool. And I must say, I want The Ghoul's Gun modded into Fallout 4 immediately. The only other thing I didn't like was Amazon and thier stupid video player. Not only did it glitch out frequently blackening the screen in whole or in part several times while watched, we still had to put up with ads even though we pay for Amazon Prime. Sorry, but that's not good enough. I'd actually feel inclined to download this show if I wanted to rewatch it to avoid this nonsense. But that's nothing against the show itself. It was entertaining, compelling, respected the source material and was well produced. I am even temped to say this was better than HBO's The Last of Us as an adaptation, and that is saying something. A much watch for both fans and newcomers alike. 9/10
  260. There's nothing righteous about keeping up a religious schedule. It's, well, just that, keeping up schedule. It's a routine. Just because somebody surrenders a hour or so of one day a week to listen to some deluded zealot read from a story book doesn't make them better than other people. It means they can set an alarm and get up before 9am on a Sunday and that's about it. I've said if before in this topic and I'll say it again, religion is for people who want to relinquish responsibility for how they behave, what they say and even how they think and feel to something else. It's for the weak minded who can't be bothered to establish a moral compass of thier own. I'm not saying the practicing religion makes on evil. On the contrary, most religious scripture promotes a positive way to live and treat other people, all I'm saying is that it doesn't automatically make people good either. Having said that, religion is not innocuous. It's archaic and open to twisted interpretations that people use to justify heinous acts, attitudes and behaviour that anyone with a moral compass that they themselves developed through reason, logic, experience even thier own mistakes would find completely deplorable. But like I said, religion is for people who want to relinquish responsibility for how they behave, what they say and even how they think and feel to something else, even if that includes rape and murder.

  270. Im changing all the time and looking for games in other genres. I still consider myself a new gamer because I'm trying everything out. 275. Left 4 Dead is a good shout as well. It's a pity that they've discontinued this series.
  276. I didn't even know this existed. It sounded like a cool concept but it sounds expensive for a company to maintain so I understood why they never continued with it.
  277. Personally, it'd be Linkin Park. I've only ever been to one of their concerts but that was way back in my late teens in the early 2000's.

  295. I'm definitely a realist and I see the fake wizard before even walking the yellow brick road. I spit on the road. That makes me a realist. My whole name is realty vs adventure. It's my whole theme. My glass of half full and half empty is exactly reality vs adventure. It's a struggle between optimism and pessimism. Cynicism vs stoicism.
