Hi! Found this forum via word of mouth, as the title says, I'm very happy to find a classic forum. I enjoy Nintendo titles, RPGs, and FPS, I've also very recently have been getting into the strategy/4X genre. Can't wait to discuss gaming with you all! 😄

Just to reiterate one more time as well. The report function is there for a reason and people shouldn't be afraid to use it. Using it is not an attempt to "taddle" on anyone or get someone in trouble and we will always look at an issue impartially. Whether we do or do not take action will depend on that individual case. You can access the report function via a drop down menu by clicking on this icon on the top-right hand corner of any post. It is preferable to use the report function then sending a DM, it's actually faster and helps us keep better tack of issues on the form, so DON'T dm myself of DC about an issue, use the report function.

Seriously - It's something that have actually happened to me in the past. I actually talked out of experience which I really felt like punching the guy that very day with his okay response.

The mod is exceptionally good from the way I have seen him handle most of the issues that crops out in the line of discussion and disagreement in the community. He's been in a heated argument with a particular member I'm not going to mention but he never let his power as a mod get to his head which most mod don't. His objectiveness is way off the roof for me and I like him for that.

You're welcome dear, most of the game I refered was shown on the internet I didn't have much clue about them, I watched only on YouTube especially far cry 6, which I know it's not yet released. It will be released on the 7th of next month. Most of the games I suggested like MotoGP, FIFA 21, battlefield etc, are real but he condemned it, like I'm a total newbie. I didn't comment cos I know how to handle toxic comments like that. Everyone is here, to share experience, no one knows it all. OK, this is getting beyond a joke! Not out. It's Battlefield and which one? Doesn't exist, unless your talking about MotoGP based on the motorcycle championship of the same name. It's Need for Speed and again, which is one? Last year. Not out. 2013. I'm convinced, these are a bunch of EA employees and/or people who don't have a clue!

Clearly, none of you three really know what you're talking about because none of you did the right thing. If you see a post you believe is in violation of forum rules, you don't debate it openly on the forum, you report it and let either myself or @DC handle it from there. Listen, all three of you, and in fact everyone, but especially you @Heatman because you have been doing this a lot. Before posting on threads, look at age of them and think to yourself "Is this still relevant? Is this worth bringing back?". In the case of old SSP posts that would have been deleted under the current rules, that is answer is most defiantly a no. Yes, the Forum Rules and Guidelines as they currently stand forbid posts that only exist for the purposes of promotion; But these rules are, and have always been, subject to change. In other words, this rule wasn't always in place and wasn't always enforced as strictly as it is now. Indeed, it was only around the time this thread was originally posted OVER A YEAR AGO that this all started to come into place. Why? Well, the post @The Blackangelmade at the time kind of sums it up. The community was fed up with the sheer volume of this crap that was getting posted to the site at the time. It was around a month later after THIS thread was created that @DC offered me a position as a moderator to help better enforce the new rules and clear spam posting. The opening post of this thread is in violation of this rules, along with so many others, but they were never removed because; Deleting these threads would remove a large amount of perfectly innocent response posts. The process to do so would be time consuming. Banning these accounts wouldn't really make a difference as the OP's of posts like this tend to disappear after that one post anyway. It would not be fair to penalise people for posting SSP before there was a rule against it. This thread is not the problem. The problem is when people re-awaken long dead promotional threads like this to "call them out". This is why I need you @Heatman especially to pay attention to what I'm saying as it was you who kicked this dead thread back into life after well over a year since the last post on it just to say this; And spark a whole debate about the rules on promotion on VGR, and for what? This isn't even the first time I've talked to you about posting on dead promotional threads, is it? Back then I was asking you nicely, but now consider this me officially telling you. Stop it. Stop posting on dead threads that have no current relevance, especially old promotional threads like this that would have been deleted if somebody tried to post them today. A truly open world game where you can literally do whatever you want and enter any building in the map. Imagine a game the size of GTA but you can also enter every interior and fill up your car with petrol at the petrol stations. Would be crazy

It's actually why I prefer playing all my games making use of my headphones in order to avoid disturbing others.

As far as video games are concerned, bugs can never me eliminated completely. It's why they keep having updates frequently. With what I experience with playing Top Eleven Football Manager, it's crystal clear bugs are innate with games.

Not my field, but I would say medical and technically most jobs, because while not hands on training, it can be pretty close to the real thing if the application has a budget and team behind it, and some people including me learn pretty much mostly once you actually start doing it. I forget like 86% of the things learned by ear.

Why would they need to get bigger? I've had 10 times more fun in GTA3 and Vice City than in GTAV, despite the map being only a fraction of the size. What you ask for is not feasible, and not even necessary. And the exact mentality while we get big but pointless open world games devoid of meaningful content. As for being able to destroy cities, see Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. You can literally level everything in that game, and it's one of the most underrated open world games I've seen.

As phenomenal looking a game it is with that old cartoon art style, don't be fooled. It's a good idea to find someone to play it with you because if it's even half as hard as everyone says it is you will want to drag somebody down to that hell so you won't be alone. Don't get me wrong, it's a good game, it's hard as baked shit, but a good game.

I still play on cartridges and discs. And I'm not referring to current gen systems. I'm talking about Atari/NES/SNES/ N64/ PS1/PS3/ GBASP etc. I'm a classic gamer.
