A big city would be cool where you play as a teenager or multiple teenagers, if they would use multiple characters i'd figure include multiple schools aswell. Include a job system like mowing somebody their lawn or delivering papers by bike would be a most to make money and past time acitvities as yeah what do teenager do these days to pass the time, i've got no idea lol, do they still hang out or is it online only. It would probably be better to set it into 70 ies or 80 ies, so you don't have to deal with phones and all that jazz. Like i don't know i'm just making this up as i'm writing this post becoming the most populair person at a school as that is what the first bully was about and challenge rival schools for their turf in the city man there are so many things you can do with bully that could be great to do.

Let's be creative and create a blueprint for a game. It's just for fun and and you can be as creative as you like. Each response can be a short paragraph or or two to get an idea so that a whole page of suggestions doesn't take over the game. But feel free to reply as many times as you want with fresh ideas. Kind of like D&D card game but without the cards or a board. But the idea is that each response is a turn that develops upon the game. It can be absolutely anything, but keep in mind the flow of story, settings, characters, and gameplay. Please reply as many times you want as there is really no turn base. Before we start we should agree on a starting theme or setting. Anyone want to start? And if anything isn't clear then just post and ask here before we get started. We can agree on an idea or just jump in and begin. Wutcha think?

When I was a wee lad I actually played the heck out of Battlefront Classic. It was one of my favorite games, nowadays I play much more than just Battlefront but recently I bought it again. I've played the modern but there's just a lack of chaos. Part of the fun is the pure havoc that comes with the AI, which always spams as many grenades as possible. The game actually felt like a war game as you had to strategize in order to get anywhere. There were always multiple fronts in a map that needed to be broken thought which added a lot of choice into the mix. The modern games are less "large scale battles" and more personal duels which ruined the havoc, trench-like warfare that added so much to the depth to the game. I also think the classic maps are better, but keep in mind I'm biased. The classic maps always had a sense of scale, while keeping the points of interest close together to add to a battle-like astrosphere where you will always end up in a front of a battle. All 16 original maps are also really well-designed, as they all feel, look, and play differently from each other. For example, the Cloud City map have multiple hallways that lead into each other creating a city skyline that can effect the yard below viva above-ground support. As with Hoth, there are tunnels that lead into each other, however you also have massive AT-ATs and multiple trenches that make the map less of hallway skirmishes and more into a full frontal assault or a stealth mission. The final thing I want to say, is that the trooper based gameplay is more fun that playing as Darth Vader because you can't just run down everyone and survive. You actually have to use cation to gun down fifteen guys, instead of just winging it.

Agreed - I never pay attention to the story in Just Cause games because I know that it'll be lacklustre but using the Wingsuit and cables to get around is pretty entertaining. I bet you any money that Square Enix will ruin it.

I'd want the old Mech Assault games for Xbox, The Last Of Us, Ratchet & Clank and Persona series from Sony, The Mario Kart and Super Smash games from Nintendo.

I'm i the only one who thinks as with what is confirmed now, the usual packed end of the year for big games is probably the worst it's been in years. While there are a couple of games i'm interested in getting there is nothing that remotly stands out for imo, maybe it has to with age i don't know like even ubisoft isn't releasing a blockbuster title while skulls and bones looks decent enough it's doubtfull that it's going to be a huge success for them.

Now that I think about it - my parents used to make me play games like Mortal Kombat and Manhunt as a kid. They didn't see any problem with the amount of violence in the two mentioned titles. I personally think age 3 or 4 is a good age to start but make sure the child does it in moderation. As for what is acceptable, I'd probably start them off with something a bit more subtle like Ratchet & Clank and not Duck Hunt like my dad did lmao.

Fifa and Madden have literally been the same game reskinned over the past decade with previously removed features being re-added in more recent games as "revolutionary" gameplay. Most of the same bugs are still in these games and haven't been fixed either.

I was going to say that but seriously a good shout. Resident Evil 7 is scary but I was more scared of running out of ammo if I'm being honest. Like what kind of Resident Evil game has scarce ammo? That's the biggest gripe I had with this game - I mean the family that's hunting you down throughout the house can hear or sense you if you're close enough and they can run through walls. You can't even throw a punch lol. I like this one as well - one of the first boss fight with Pyramid Head while you're trapped in the room with him swinging his blade around was scary but the music and lighting plus the bad camera angle is what really made it terrifying.

Call of Duty is the last game that I played on my mobile. I play on mobile when I am on a the train to somewhere.

Don't play a ton of (survival) horror games myself but i'm guessing you could pretty much nominate any survival horror game as a candidate for this thread. Offcourse one game in particulair comes to mind the almighty and arguable the best horror game ever made -> Deadly Premonition but since i've brought that game up enough already why not leave it at that do consider it my number one pick for this thread. My nominations for this thread will be a bit off as they are not particulairy horror games but nonetheless are worthy of a mention. Among The sleep -> you could call this a horror game eventough i find it more of an adventure game then anything else where you play as a toddler who is trapped inside a scary dream and goes on to search for his mother, it only takes 3-4 hours to complete so perfect game to play on a rainy november evening, since you play as a child some of the shit is really disturbing well imo. Graveyard Keeper -> has you managing a medieval graveyard where you bury the dead yourself, offcourse in typical fashion you have to make some disturbing choices along the way as to upgrade your graveyard. That along makes it having a disturbing atmosphere while still being a relaxing gaming experience. what more can i say about Graveyard keep if you like stardew valley and have 20 bucks to spare this will be your jam i'm sure. Gleaner Heights -> Yet another stardew valley clone yes i know but hear me out, while not as refined as stardew valley it's a more sinister or macabre version of stardew valley, while all the usual life sime and farming elements are there it's only the surface once you start digging deeper you'll find a suprising dark/disturbing adventure game waiting for you. Maybe not choices you'd expect here but why not think outside the box for once. It would have been so much easier to just resident evil or clock tower but you know not really a fan of those games anymore.

I disagree, I don't see how it's disturbing, but I'm more than happy for you to enlighten me. The only time I've been disturbed by a GTA game was in San Andreas when there were empty areas. The graves in particular, I was expecting ghosts and ghouls to leap out. I don't think they're vulnerable to TEK-9s though... Yes. How so? I can't think of many parts of the Mass Effect games that have 'disturbing' environments. The only time I was spooked by the game was during the first level where the Shepard's fighting husks, a weak but terrifying enemy in the lore.

It may not be your favorite, but it is a must see!

Even if it's just a $100 loss, I still wouldn't feel happy about it. If I had used my stuff and it damaged on my watch, it's a lot better than having to lose it to a thief. Some of them wouldn't even know the worth and they will gamble it away for a piece of trash.

It might be able to work like that in shooting games but I think that it's something that's going to have to deal with a serious challenge if there would be something sort of hand combat. Something like the combat system in MK Games. It's going to be very difficult to use voice control.

That'd be my guess as well, but I'm clueless as to why Dead Island 2. Why not a game that has lots of micromanaging that's faster with voice rather than going through a visual interface, such as a real-time strategy (RTS) game? One such example was Tom Clancy's EndWar which had exceptionally responsive voice commands, which was necessary because of how much time could be wasted issuing commands in a rather hectic game. For the record I'm not against Dead Island 2 being 'hands-free' eventually. I can't see Alexa Game Control being ready and Amazon do not possess a good track record for developing their ideas, especially in the tech space. If this flops it might be the last time we see a hands-free game for a long time, especially on a scale that Amazon could do it if it goes well. Not to mention how Dead Island 2 has been in development Hell; it'll be a miracle if either of these projects launch successfully. I hope, for the sakes of voice-controlled video games more than Amazon or Dead Island's dignity, this works out. It'd be such a well-needed leap for accessibility in games.

Denuvo and other DRM has been known to cause performance issues such as frame-rate drops and loading time problems, however negligable. These issues are mostly experienced on PC especially with older hardware, and while I give more credit to the Switch than others regarding its hardware capabilities, it still needs all the resources it can get. It doesn't need to be bogged down further by DRM. It offers no benefit to the customer and at worst it means the pirates get the better experience because the game's performance isn't compromised. It's highly unlikely that it will: see this exhaustive list of cracked games from four years ago. There's been a lot more games with Denuvo since, and a lot more cracks since then. The hardest games to break open are those with additional DRM, such as VM Protect & Uplay, which Ubisoft employs... meaning Denuvo on its own doesn't work. For physical games, I'm not so sure, but I imagine those who want in will find a way in and then share it online. Regarding carts being stolen I'd love it if Denuvo had a way of returning carts to their rightful owners. It's a shame it doesn't, and this is Nintendo's first step to harming the idea of swapping games or selling them used. I get the appeal of cracking down on emulators for the current console, I find the practice abhorrent when Switches are available, affordable for what they are, and there's plenty of copies of games new and used. The developers and publishers can still make money on them, unlike say a Nintendo 64. Shigeru Miyamoto isn't getting a penny for a copy of Super Mario 64 sold on eBay, but he could for Super Mario Odyssey bought new from GAME (well, that's not entirely how it works but the sentiment is the same.) I wish I had your optimism. Very rarely is DRM removed for the legitimate purchasers once it's demonstrated the anti-piracy measures to have failed, meaning we can have goodbye to many games that end their publishing agreements and licenses. The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. I agree with you entirely but I want to highlight this particular line. Discourse on piracy, especially from developers and publishers, is rarely truthful let alone useful. According to sexual harrassment apologist and Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemont, PC has a 93-95% piracy rate... which means their DRM is effective 5-7% of the time. Whatever the real figures are (which they can't know anyway), they haven't really lost a sale because it's unlikely that many pirates are the 'ethical' kind who use it as a demo first. I hope Nintendo have been paying attention but again I have not one iota of faith.

The worst would have to be Resident Evil Survivor 2 – Code: Veronica (PS2). it's a fucking dreadful excuse for an arcade FPS. Clunky, same objective every level and every single asset was just copied over from Resident Evil Code Veronica X. The first Resident Evil Survivor was a piece of crap but even it had more effort put into it than this, with (shitty) voice acting and some exclusive assets. The abomination doesn't even have that going for it. This is a lazy and pathetic as you can conceive.

Unfortunately I'm not seeing any word of it working on the PS4. This looks to just be for the PS5. But I do hope they make it useable for the PS4 as well, considering I believe the PS4 controllers work on PS5. And I can't imagine it being hard to make it work with PS4 as well.

That's true, multi platform Games sells faster you could make a game with so much interest and people who are currently anticipating its release an exclusive in the first few week just to give it more attention since people would be very curious as to what the final release is like and after a couple weeks release it on other platforms that has usually helped to boost sales for some games in the past.

I don't think I've gotten better at adapting, I think games have gotten easier to play. Even with games getting more complicated, controllers and UI's have improved so much in the last 20-30 years that it's so much simpler to pick up a game and start playing it than it used to be.

I don't know anything around NFL, I don't follow super bowl events, it is cool knowing that you know about this type of event. I am more of soccer fan, most of my analysis comes from those major soccer leagues around the world. I think you sound like someone who can give better predictions around EPL sports, if only you can give it your time. Why not create a platform where you can share daily match tips around NFL events 😂.

Well everything becomes "Retro" at some point. Hell, I'd say the PS2, Xbox and Gamecube are retro consoles at this point. Back then the graphics were fantastic. Graphics back then don't come close to the graphics we have today. But down the road, graphics will continue to get better and better. But, we're going to get to a point where graphics can't get better, or they will stay at a constant pace.

It be stupid to release a limited editon console when it's damn near impossible for people to just get a regulair version at normal retail price. Because you know these limited editions would most likely be scooped up like crazy by scalpers and in turn being offered on the secondary market for twice the price and that would anger/dissapoint people even more who really just want to have a ps5.
